Wings come out flying today, play aggressive, take it to the Ducks and win. Bert's goal from Game 3 starts a streak for him. He'll get playoff goal #3 tonight. GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bingo. Regardless of who's more physical, I am so damn proud of the Wings. The fact that each and everyone on them has stepped up their physical game is just amazing. Take for instance the last game. Look how agressive they came out from the drop of the puck till the last buzzer. The fact that Hank and Dats are throwing their body around says enough. Dats slammed one of the Ducks into the board in game three, twice, and I was just shocked and joyed. Ducks can come at the Wings all they what, and the Wings will take it right back to 'em and be smart about it as well. It's not even that the Wings are hitting, but sometimes they'll TAKE the hit when they know it's coming just to make a play happen. For instance Cleary saw a hit coming in Game 3 and right next to him was Drapes. Right as he's being slammed into the boards he gives the puck to Drapes. It's plays like that and just sacrificing yourself is going to make all the difference in the world. We haven't seen this from the Wings in YEARS and I think it all goes back to Babcock. He's done a wondeful job with this Wings team. Oh and by the way..Lilja ROCKS. 53 hits that leads the league baby!

Haha that's exactly how I feel from meeting the guys so many times and talking to them. I'm all 'don't mess with my boys!' Joe is awesome as hell. I could only dream that one day he'd be in the Winged Wheel. I once had a dream that him and I were best friends. I was like OMG Joe and I are best friends..be jealous people..be jealous! Aww that's awesome of Huds. I hear a lot of the players do that. Some give sticks away too.

Excellent post, NFM. 100% agree with everything you say. I know it's hard for most of us on here to get along with opposing fans, especially being the playoffs, but I still think there draws a line somewhere. We are known here to be one of the best, most classy hockey boards on the web and I most definitely think it should stay that way. Yeah we are going to disagree with fans of the Ducks on certain things, and that's fine..but the name calling, insulting..etc needs to stop. If someone bothers another poster THAT much then just put him on her on ignore. No need to flood the board with insults galore and make all Wings fans look bad.. Anyways, I thought I'd let it be known that WildWing, Duckette, Zamboni, and RobertWho? Are all pretty awesome on these boards, and I truly do appreciate that they are the classy, cool Ducks fans on here that keep it all in perspective.

Well that is awesome that they were still nice. They sound like a great bunch of guys. The stalking in the parking lots that some fans do is something I will never understand. I find it rather creepy! Wonder what the fellas think! lol poor guys.

When was this said? After Game 3 he was all "Oh I thought the Wings were going to get smoked tonight and bla bla bla." "The Ducks will find a way to deal with this" etc... and then right before Game 3 he says "I see the Ducks taking this series in 5." I don't have a problem at all in that he picked against the Wings, but when he does it EVERY round and always says they don't have a chance it gets really old and it's just obvious that he blatantly hates them.

That's very true. The Wings get seriously mobbed by their fans. I kinda feel bad for them at times. You go to an autograph signing for any player and there are literally over a thousand with the lines going outside and wrapped around several buildings. Also, when they practice at Troy it's crazy. EVERYONE goes by their locker room after practice so the second they leave it's like BOOM everyone comes outta nowhere and asks for sigs, pics..etc.. they get stalked. Literally. People chase 'em in the parking lots. LOL

Look what you're comparing. Pronger rammed Homer's head into the glass intentionally, whereas, Maltby wasn't even looking at Getzlaf when the high stick clipped him. In fact, if I do recall correctly it was Ryan who lifted up Kirk's stick in which it then clipped him. What's the point? Intentionally vs. Accidentally. That's the point. Which in the end makes all the difference in the world. So please stop with your nonsense.

Funny thing is the Wings and Sens were known as the "chokers' the past 4 years or so. Everyone was counting them out this year and well lookie lookie!

In the season they were all about the Wings, but the second the playoffs started they've been nothing but negative. I remember Eddie Olcyck would constantly say great things about the Wings, and now all of a sudden he's ragging on them. Same goes for Doc. The only one I think truly likes the Wings and wants to see them do well is Pierre..but that's just what I think.. Anyways..is it me or did it seem like Doc and Eddie were about to cry or something last night when the Wings were up 4-0? Haha okay maybe not cry..but they seemed soooo down about it and got all quiet. Then they kept repeating "Well no lead is safe and bla bla bla"

I too want to see Huds in, but it's not going to happen because he'd probably get manhandled out there with being so small and all. LOL Thing is.I would put him in the guy is feisty as heck regardless! He's damn talented. I'm upset they aren't playing him.

You know there have been Flames fans, Sharks fans..etc and they have never had a problem with this board, nor have they thought we were classless. So far this series, and even well before it started Anaheim fans have been the absolute worst. "Duck in 2" "Ducks in 3" "Wings have no chance" "Watch out WIngs" etc.. and then there are one or two of you such as yourself who have the damn nerve to defend what Pronger did. That is a joke. You better believe that if ANY of the Wings did what Pronger did last night that we would be damn upset and would be expecting that person to get a suspension.
