No kidding. Honestly? From all the teams I've watched and while some have pretty damn good 'shut down' lines. I haven't seen any better than the Cleary/Draper/Maltby line. Those guys are absolutely relentless.

There will never be another Hockeytown, USA other than the Wings. Well, it's not that I went on to their site or anything. I got the Detroit News today at a local store and when I opened it up, the LA times article was in there. I had no choice really. lol

That's the thing. I'm just so sick of everyone disrespecting the Wings. It bothers me because of the lack of the credit they are getting. I just don't understand it and I thought maybe after the first two rounds and how great they played that everyone would shut up, and then I read this crap and it's like how immature can someone get? MVP debate Pretty much right on with who they chose for the Wings. I really think Lids has it in the bag, if the Wings go on to win the Cup. Hank is only going to get better though and he's coming around so that will be something interesting to see as the Wings go deeper. Same goes for Dom. Definitely the best player against the Sharks. I'm sure if he were to play the same from here on out, which he most likely will then he'll have much consideration for it. Thoughts?

You are vastly underestimating 'The Pain Train.' Lilja has been a huge key to the Wings D this post season, and is only getting better. What's this about Danny not showing up in the playoffs? He's been fantastic. Shutting down forwards, making great defensive plays, hitting, sticking up for his teammates..etc. He's relentless.

You are pretty smart for a new fan. Props to you. Not because you complimented the Wings, but because you are one of the rare Anaheim fans on here that have been smart, and classy.

I don't have a problem with the three that were mentioned. They've all done something in the first two rounds that were huge, and they've all came up big at the right times during games to get us the W. IMO though. MVP so far has been Cleary. He's done phenomenal in every situation he's been put in, and has made some huge plays, hits, and of course let's not forget that penalty shot goal that turned it all around.

Well us Wings fans saw our team dominate in the season and so far in the playoffs after constantly being told that they were too old, slow, and soft. That they wouldn't even make the playoffs. Look what they've done all year long and how amazing they've played, but you don't see us flaunting about it in a rude manner, warning, and stating that the opposing team sucks and doesn't have a chance. There are maybe two of you on here so far that have been cool. Yourself, and Duckette. The rest of the Anaheim fans have been nothing but ignorant, and unbelievably classless. The first two rounds we had the Flames and Sharks fans on here and while there will always be trolls, at least they gave the Wings credit where it was due and at least they didn't come on here parading about how their team was going to whoop the Wings. It's perfectly fine to be confident in your team. Everyone should be that way with their favorites. On the other hand it's rude for some to come on here and filter the boards with crap such as "Ducks in 3" "Wings suck" "Wings have no chance" "Ducks are bigger, tougher, stronger." etc.. I just think it'd be great if opposing fans that join this great board would come in here with a little respect. It's all about class, something Anaheim fans completely lack.

How in the hell did they hand the series to the Wings? I didn't know that NOT giving up, playing hard in every shift, and taking it to the Sharks, and shutting down their top lines means that the Wings were listless and were given the wins. You aren't give wins, you earn them. The Sharks not knowing how to keep a lead doesn't mean the Wings didn't earn it, or were given the series. They worked their asses off, and outplayed the Sharks in the majority of the series. They absolutely deserved to win this series, and their play throughout it showed it. Please tell me where I stated the Ducks have no depth? You just brought that up out of nowhere, genius. Keep up with the cocky, arrogant attitude. It makes you look beyond ignorant and takes away from your already foolish posts, but hey all the more power to you.

So you didn't watch the series then? You've got to be kidding if you honestly think the Sharks were pathetic and the Wings were not impressive in the series. First off despite the Sharks not bringing their "A" game they were still a very tough team to play. They are no where near pathetic. As for the Wings, coming back from being down on the scoreboard in three games to win is not impressive? Being down 2-0 and tying/winning a game with seconds left or OT isn't impressive? Hasek playing fantastic isn't impressive? The 'small-soft' Wings shutting down the toughest team in the league..still not impressive? Please know what the hell you're talking about, or better yet ask the Sharks fans about that series before you come on here and make yourself look foolish with such comments.

He's definitely injured. I know he's trying to shrug it off like he's not, but it's obvious. The guys is a heck of a hockey player. We saw that from the second he became a Red Wing. Now all of a sudden since Round 1 he hasn't been himself and his ice time has gone down big time. I remember after we beat the Flames he held down his right hand and shook with his left. Think that's says it all!

Exactly. Ozzie is more than capable of handling the job. He's been a starter throughout most of his career, and I can absolutely see him being one again. The guy is a proven winner, then and now. He's a hell of goalie, be it in a tandem, or starting role.
