I think Cleary would be a great filler on D, but then that takes away from his offensive game. I'll stick with Lebs for sure *if he's healthy* and if not him than Meech or Jonathan.

They just said he's going to have surgery next week and will be in a splint the next 8 weeks or so. Such an innocent play turns out to be so damn ugly. Also, Krons is going to start skating by the end of this week. If the Wings make it to the SCF he'd more than likely be ready to go. Looks like we are going to need Lebs to step it up big time. He's done great, but he's going to have to do even better now.

I was never scared of the Sharks either. Sure I knew they were a talented bunch, but I never once thought that the Wings wouldn't be able to them especially with the way the Wings had been playing since the the start of the post season. It's a different team out there and I never once doubted them. Like everyone says, the series isn't over, but our boys have proved mostly everyone wrong and that says a lot. I'm confident that they'll take the series tomorrow IF they carry that momentum from Game 5 and play a full 60 minutes.

His 13 All Star Games, 3 Cups, 2 Vezinas *soon to be three*, and phenomenal stats prove otherwise. The guy is amazing. One of the best in history. It's obvious you don't like the guy so you're discrediting him..but let's not get carried away here.

I was thinking about that earlier today. I really hope not though. How much is he making? Seems to me like he absolutely loves it in Detroit and that HOPEFULLY he'd be willing to take a pay cut if need be. The guy is a huge part of this team and I'd love for him to be a Wing until he retires. That's just me though...

Well of course they are going to think that. It's their team and they are going to be positive no matter what. Just like us Wings fans would be if we were in their position. Honestly though? I've seen majority of Sharks fans say this series is over. I'm confident that the Wings will take it in 6, but the last win is always the hardest.

Ahhh fantastic. Doesn't it amaze you though that with all the injuries the D still looks SO great out there? The Wings have got some damn good depth on D and it's showing. Lebda's almost ready, and I've hear Nik repeat a bunch of times that if the Wings were to be in the Conference Finals that he'd be ready. IF they do make it, then all our guys will be back except for Schneids, in which we really don't know how long he'll be out until he gets a bunch of tests and such done. They are just saying 'done for the playoffs' because that's the obvious answer. Anything can happen though.. *crosses fingers*

Lebda said he felt good enough to play in Game 5, but it was Babs decision and he didn't feel he was ready to go. I think Babs said he needed a few more practices in or something and then maybe he'd put him in. I don't think Holland would say that he's a go for Game 6 if he didn't talk to Mike first.

Sammy! He deserved that goal with the way he's been playing the last three or so games. It's a long time coming!

I saw Meech play a few years ago up in prospect camp and I thought he looked real good out there. SO good that if one of the Wings D were out that he'd fill in well. The Wings obviously didn't agree with me, but I like what I saw from the guy and he's even better now. Anywho I just saw this on HockeysFuture. Profile's on Jonathan and Derek. Ericsson Meech

I'll try and find a clip, but I've seen it a couple times because I recorded the game. It went top shelf, slightly in the upper corner, in the net, and then out real quick. It was definitely a goal.

So Sharks fans are claiming that the first goal for the Wings never actually crossed the line. I find that quite funny...

I don't know guys.. I have this funny feeling that if GOD WILLING the Wings make it to the Cup that Schneids would be back. We really won't know how bad it is until he see's a doctor.
