Ditto. I was really harsh on Dom before the season, and well.. I'll gladly eat my crow for everything I've said about the guy.

Just saw this from the Detroit News. Little snippet on Ozzie helping out the Wings even when he's not playing. Great stuff.

    bench bert article today

Benching Bert is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. ONE bad game and everyone gives up on him? Yikes. Not gonna happen, peeps..

    Can We Talk About Bertuzzi?

Bertuzzi should be signed. I don't think people realize how hard it is to come back and play your game after being out for so long with a back injury and then having a concussion/neck strain. And the thing is he's played pretty damn good up until last night in which he was completely off. That happens. That doesn't take away from what an important player and dominant player Todd could be. The farther the Wings go in these playoffs, the more they are going to need him. I bet anything he'll be re-signed and for a less amount than he's making right now. Maltby will be re-signed based on the fact that the organization loves him so very much. The guy ALWAYS plays great in the playoffs and it's no different this time. He might not put up numbers, but every little thing he does is contributing and helping out whether killing penalties, great forechecking, hitting, etc.. he's an important part of the team despite his not so great regular seasons. I expect he'll be signed but at a much lower amount than he's making this season. Why in the world should we not sign Kyle? The guy is a hell of a player. He showed us that after being acquired in February, and while he hasn't been so hot in the playoffs thus far, he's still an asset. Are we forgetting that the guy is supposedly playing with a broken hand? That does take a lot away from your game believe it or not! Anyways, I absolutely LOVE what I've seen from the guy. He's such a hard worker, fantastic along the boards, gritty, strong on the puck, and tough. In the long run it's guys like KC that when you look back and see why the Wings were successful his name will pop up due to his contributions. You don't have to score to make a difference. His prescence, and the fact that he's such a hard worker says enough. He needs to be re-signed. Big mistake if Kenny doesn't do so. Lang won't be re-signed. It's obvious. I love the guy, but it won't happen. Schneids needs to be. He's so effective out there and is a real huge, core part of the Wings D. I'd be really disappointed if they decided to no re-sign him. I think they will, though..

    NHL Awards Finalists Announced

Hank should definitely be up for the Selke. This is BS. Even Danny should have gotten some consideratiion for it. Anyways, great for Lids and Dats.
  9. Fantastic post!! LETS GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The One and Only Positive I Have Faith, Kumbayah"

100% agreed with Calfan. Anyways, I always have faith and am always positive. Usually im just positive just for the sake of being so, but this time I am because I TRULY believe the Wings will win this series. Having Homer back tomorrow is freaking HUGE! Let's take game 4, get home ice back and put those Sharks away.

    Hasek and Osgood

HAHA! One of the many reasons why I love Chris so much. The guy is not only a great player, but an absolute class act, great team player, and hilarious. Oz is the man. I love that him and Dom get along. The third sexiest goaltender in the NHL think was freaking hilarious, but I also liked this part: Bad Ozzie!

    Joe Thornton

Stupid is too kind of a word me thinks. They were out of their damn minds. They must be kicking theirselves in the ass right about now.

HAHA I saw that. Was it me or did Cleary seem REALLY pissed off and annoyed with John? I mean I know he's pissed obviously because of the game, but still...

Yeah seriously. Very dumb on John's part.

LOL that's exactly what I was just going to say. It was pretty silent. Much like the JLA was in Game 1. Of course though after they scored and got the go ahead goal it was a different story.

Definitely a clean, good, hard fought series thus far. It''s far from over. I can tell ya'll that much.

    Can We Talk About Bertuzzi?

He was awful tonight. We can all agree on that. But let's not go overboard like some already have insisting that he's been horrible this post season and not a difference at all. Bert was playing fine up until tonight. He'll move on and get ready for Game 4. I'm sure we'll see something different out there on Wednesday.

One bad game makes him awful throughout his entire time as a Wing thus far? A bit overboard eh?

    Post-GAME 3 (4/30): Sharks 2, Red Wings 1 F

Agreed on everything you just said. I thought Dom kept us in it for the most part and made some great saves, BUT Clowe's goal was awful. Dom should have had it. It was right after that goal that the Sharks absolutely dominated. Definitely a back breaker. Cheecho's should of been stopped as well.. enough of the rolling around on the back.

Yep. I could just tell by Nick's expression that he really isn't alright.

Babcock is not a good coach

He's done a great job. Last time I checked this was a seven game series. Too early for a thread like this eh? *shakes head*

John Keating was just interviewing Lidstrom. "You okay? You were limping a bit." Lidstrom: 'Yeah i'm perfectly fine. No problems. No problems at all." Hmmmmmmmmm.....

    Post-GAME 3 (4/30): Sharks 2, Red Wings 1 F

How does being outplayed for 20 make it such a long time since the Wings were outplayed so badly? I'm not getting it. The Wings were dominating in the first and most of the second. After the Sharks tied the game late in the second is where the Wings fell apart.
