Wings Injury Update Holmstrom is going to see an eye specialist tomorrow, and if all goes well they are going to try and get him on the plane so he can play in Game 4. *crosses fingers* Lebda is aiming for Game 5. He said if it were the regular season he'd be out 4-6 weeks... yikes. Luckily, Quincey is doing a great job filling in. Get better soon, Lebs!

YAYYYY HOMER YAYYYYYY!!! I just woke up my Dad who is sick with the flu. HOW AWFUL AM I? I was like DAD HOMER IS CLEARED TO PLAY. He didn't even yell at me for waking him up, he smiled! hahaha

:puke: I won't ever stop watching no matter what happens..but that is just freaking HORRIBLE to even THINK of having shootouts in the playoffs. I absolutely love the 5 on 5 OT periods the way they are. The further it goes the more exciting. That's how I feel anyway!

No. It's not that he didn't give the Wings credit. It's that he HAD to make a comment to discredit the Wings. He didn't have to bring it up, but he did to make his team look better.

The thing is I DO think Lilja deserves to play over Kronwall because he's earned it and has played fantastic. I just think no matter how good Lils is playing that Babs will sit him right away for Kronner. This season Kronner >>>> Lilja. So far in the playoffs though Lilja has been amazing. I don't think he or anyone else should sit out...I just think Babs will put in Nik no matter how the situation is.

Kronner was starting to play really good before he got injured. He was just starting to get his game back AFTER he took out that caged mask that was bothering the heck outta him. Kronwall at the point >>>> Sammy at the point. PLUS he makes great tape to tape passes, joins the rush, and is just an all around solid D-man. His physical prescence is a great thing as well.. Let's not kid ourselves, peeps.. Nik is a very good d-man. He's just had no luck.

The killer part is Lang is a VERY great, dominant player when he decides to show up and play. I don't know what his deal is..but I DO think if the Wings go on farther that hopefully he can turn it around and do his thing. I have faith in Bobby.

Kronwall is most definitely my fave D-man, but I kinda do agree that Lilja should not at all be replaced. The man is a BEAST! He's playing some fantastic hockey and deserves to stay. As for Lebda, I just read he's aiming for a game 5 return. Then again..it would be great having Kronner back for the sake of getting Sammy the hell off the point. Plus, Nik is quite physical so that can only help. Guess we'll have to see how it all pans out.

I don't hate him, I just don't like the fact that he discredited the Wings of the win last night stating that they really didn't earn it or didn't have pressure on the Sharks. I can't stand when a coach doesn't give credit where it's due. Be a professional. It's like he's trying to make it seem like the Sharks didn't get outplayed so he can bring the Wings down. I look at Babs and in nearly EVERY interview since the season began he's given the opposing team credit when due, just like he did for the Sharks in Game 1. That's really about it.. and I think that is why some people on here are bitching. Please don't get ahead of yourself.
