I am so pissed right now. Game 3 falls on my sisters graduation ceremony. Apparently graduation is more important than the NHL playoffs? UGH. I am angered. I have never missed a Wings game since I've been a fan, let a lone a playoff one.

Damn that was a horrible high stick. His eye swollen shut..yikes. I'm sure he'll be back soon though. Probably Game 2.

Kyle played very good last night. The guy has got a lot of poise. He was very smart out there, making great outlet passes, throwing his body around, giving no room for the Flames' forwards etc.. VERY impressed. He's going to be something else when he's officially in the line up. Atta boy, Quinc!

I agree and then I disagree on some points. It's fine to criticize your team to a point, but some on here went completely oveboard. Saying the series was over after they lost ONE game, and even before the series some were saying they have no chance against the all mighty powerful/tough Flames. Sorry, but if you are a fan you BELIEVE in your team, and stick with them through it all. Be it losses, wins, injuries, etc... There is no need for some of the things that are said on here after games. It's ridiculous. For instance, after Game 4 I recall someone saying "HASEK f-ing SUCKS" and that Lidstrom was horrible etc. Honestly? What the hell is that? I just don't understand why people think it's necessarry to call out and BASH their team because they string a few losses in a series. I get that everyone was scared due to prior post seasons, but still some of the things said were outrageous and really made us Wings fans look like crap. It's the playoffs, anything can happen and thats what everyone needs to realize. Stick with em through it all..that's all there is to it.

Datsyuk slamming players was freaking GREAT! Especially when he knocked Phaneuf down. Twice! I remember in Game 5 I think it was the second period and the first line was out. Homer slammed someone into the boards, then seconds later Hank slammed another Flames player, and then finally Datsyuk on Phaneuf. It was GREAT. All in one shift, they grinded it out, and stuck it to the Flames. This Wings team ain't soft. They can dish it and take it.

How's Thornton doing? I was only able to see one of the games between the Preds and Sharks and he looked invisible out there...

HA. Wings got lucky eh? And Hasek? Yeah he got real lucky with those amazing saves last night. MAN DOES HE SUCK! Sorry but the Sharks don't scare me. I really don't care what anyone says. The Wings are playing great hockey, they are physical, tough, gritty, finesse, and just have all around great skill. They are also HUNGRY and driven to win. They want this, and I don't care what teams come our way..I ain't afraid! BRING 'EM ON!

I would LOVE for the Stars to win tonight. Get the Nucks the heck outta there. GO STARS GO!! Don't get me wrong..I am not in any way scared of the Sharks, but I'd prefer the Stars due to travel and schedule.

Yep, definitely Flip as well. That's the thing..I feel bad leaving any Wing out because they all really played well..and everyone stepped up at different/crucial times when they needed to.

Lils has been fantastic. He made so many great defensive plays in this series that could of EASILY led to being goals. He saved Hasek and the Wings a bunch of times, and he's all around stepped up. I heart Lilja.
