    Post-GAME 4: Flames 3, Red Wings 2

On Red Wings live, they were awaiting his interview at the mic, and he never showed.

Can I trade some of the Wings fans on here for you Flames fans? Seriously. It's hilarious how Flames fans are favorin the Wings, and the Wings fans are all predicting doom. Wings fans Flames fans I'm in a GILLYFO mood.

    Babcock's coaching.

I never stated Bert has been a huge factor for us thus far, how does that even make sense if he's only played two games and just now he's starting to bring in his A game. I will however say that he's a huge part of this team and having him in the line up only makes the Wings better. You may be right about Lang this season, but in the past playoffs he's been great and he never 'cost' them in the prior two post seasons. Saying that he was only good because he was on a passing line is far from the truth. HE was the one making the excellent plays, and on top of that scoring. 3 goals and 3 assists in 6 games is pretty darn good if you ask me. Perhaps you forgot how well he played, because you are so beyond negative about everything.

    WORD. Right on.

    Babcock's coaching.

Bertuzzi did all of that tonight. Whether you'd like to admit it or not, Lang in the past two playoff seasons did in fact play great. He was one of the few that would consistently show up. In 6 games against the Oilers he had 3 goals and 3 assists. In 12 games in 2004 he had 4 goals, and 5 assists.

    Babcock's coaching.

Exactly. BTW, just like to make it clear that I think Babs is a hell of a coach, he's just gotta change a few things. Mainly the Sammy ordeal. Let's give the guy some props. He changed Lang's linemates and look how that worked out for them.

    Babcock's coaching.

I don't think Babs is dumb, not at all. He just needs to realize that Sammy at the point is not working at ALL. Get him the heck off there and all will be well. The only reason he's putting him there is because Kronwall is out. If you really think about it, who else is he going to put out there with either Lids or Schneids? In the first unit Schneids/Lids are almost always together, but they can't be on there forever, and Markov, Cheli, Lils, or Lebs won't do it at the point..so I guess THAT is why he keeps sticking with Sammy. If Lebs had a better shot, I wouldn't mind seeing him out there. What's wrong with Bert on the PP? He played great tonight, and that was him probably only at 80%. He's only going to get better. When on his game is meant to be on the PP, and critical situations of a game. He is a game changer, and it helps having his huge frame out there that opponents can't contain, especially in front of the net.

I completely forgot to mention something. How GREAT was it seeing Cheli jump on Bertuzzi and hug him after he scored? I got all tingly and warm inside. Hahaha BFF!

Agreed. It's perfectly understandable to be upset and frustrated after a loss. I put my head down the second the final horn went off tonight and didn't talk to anyone around me. I get mad for about 20 minutes and then I calm down, and realize that it's FAR from over. That every home team has won their games, and that in itself is a positive! GO WINGS!!

I heart you Flames fans. You guys tell it like it is. You're 100% right, special teams was the difference and that was pretty much it. I thought Kipper was awesome, but still beatable ya know?

I'm gonna go out on a limb right now and say the Wings score 4 in the first period, Saturday. Yep. BERNIE IS GOING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN! LETS GO WINGS!!!!!!!!!

    Post-GAME 4: Flames 3, Red Wings 2

Because most on here are fair weather fans. Love 'em when they are winning, and all hell breaks loose, when they lose. Pathetic. It's fine and dandy to critcize your team. For instance, saying we need more work on the PP and PK and that it HAS to get going, or that someone needs to step it up, but most on here are downright HORRIBLE after a loss. TRUE fans stick by their team no matter what.

Kipper is no where near he was in the '04 playoffs, sweetheart. He's actually BEATABLE now. Can I imagine if Hasek faced that many shots? Umm yes. And no he wouldn't have a mental breakdown. All goalies thrive off facing more shots. The more shots, the better you play. That's just how it goes 95% of the time. I love how all of a sudden the Flames are going to win it? Momentum don't mean crap right now. The game is heading back to Detroit. To say the Flames want it more is a lie. The Wings are playing their asses off. They have EVERYTHING going for them except their PP and PK. If they just get at least one of those to get going the series will be over just like that. You are very much underestimating the Wings and I think it's pretty funny. This is nowhere near the same Wings team from the past 4 years.

    Post-GAME 4: Flames 3, Red Wings 2

I thought Lang played really well tonight. Bertuzzi was freaking fantastic. He's starting to emerge! WATCH OUT! Also, I am VERY upset that Calder barely saw the ice tonight. What the hell was that about. I know he hasn't produced due the line he was on, but now they change it up and he gets barely any ice time. He's a heck of a player, put him out there!

    Not at all.

Because he skated the day before in a Wings optional skate. They usually don't skate two games in a row. Both days were optional, and Dom chose to go Wednesday, not Thursday. That's what I heard anyway.

It looks like the Bernie rally t-shirts are going out to the Wings in perfect timing. They should all wear it before Game 5. Seriously. LETS GO WINGS!!!!!!

THANK YOU! I'm always behind the Wings 100%. This series is ours.

Agreed. EVERYONE needs to go all out. Scream like you've never screamed before and be behind them the entire time. Same for those at home! LETS GO WINGS!!!!

I have an idea! Since you love to ***** SO very much about them and see this series going downhill, I suggest you don't watch anymore. Then AFTER they win the series, come back and cheer them on because that's what fair weather fans do.
