Iginla won't back down. Even if Bert is right there. I'm actually hoping that he does do something tomorrow, and that Bert messes him up! No one messes with Hank or Dats and gets away with it.

It happens. That's how sports is. You HATE to play against certain players because they are such a great, tough, pain in the ass type of player but you'd love to have him on your team. The whole incident of 2004 is long gone. Believe me I was one of the worst ones as in showing my hatred for what he did..but I've gotten past it and I genuinely think he feels awful for it, but that's the past and this is now.

I was at the game last night and I 100% agree.

I've always loved Schneider and thought he was a great addition, and 4 years later I feel the same.

I'll always have a soft spot for D-Mac. He's an absolute great guy and I wish nothing but the best. I too was sad when I heard it was the first game he's ever missed in the playoffs. That ain't cool.

No one on here thinks the Flames suck, most that said it just did because some Flames fans came on here and starting stir up the pot. Anyways, everyone is right in that it's just one game, but I think everyone is just SO excited because they haven't seen the Wings play THIS dominating in the playoffs in about 4-5 years. I really think that was the most convincing win from the WIngs in the playoffs in a long, long time. The fact that they held their own, took it to the Flames, and were the one initiating the contact just says something. They won't be pushed around anymore, and they definitely aren't going to be taking crap from anyone. They are sticking up for each other, dishing out big hits, and playing all around smart hockey. They drove to the net, got into the corners, cycled the puck well, great forecheck etc. That is what they need to continually do to go deep into the playoffs. I think that's pretty much why we are all so happy and excited about the Wings. I don't think it means we are taking the Flames lightly, we just like what we saw. Yeah it is just one game, but it's also one hell of a start. We all know, including the Wings, that the Flames are going to be a different team on Sunday. They are going to come out hard and throw everything they can at the Wings. Here's hoping the Wings play just as good or even BETTER than they did in Game 1.

Really? I actually don't think that. I thought him going after Hank and Dats was kinda shocking, and uncharacteristic of him. It actually pissed me off a lot, because outside the Wings, I absolutely LOVE Iginla. I hope he realizes it ain't cool to take a run at star players and hurt them..that's just low.

Are the Flames fans really going to throw this empty seats bulls*** in our face? The economy is bad, and the ticket prices are outrageous. That being said, I was at the game tonight and there were very little empty seats. For one, in the beginning, it was empty because it was an early start. People started finally coming at 7:30. Second, fans started to leave with about 7 minutes left after the Wings had the game in the bag! Traffic is a ***** and thats why the arena cleared out. *I'm not one to ever do that* but everyone's different. The atmosphere was fantastic tonight, so don't even try to take that away from us because your damn Flames lost after playing a horrid, goonery game, so instead of just admitting it you bring up something so irrelevant to the actual game.

Just got back from the game about a half hour ago! WOW! First off, let me just say..this attendence stuff is being overblown. Can we talk about the GAME? The atmostpher at the JLA tonight was freaking AMAZING! I lost my voice. It was SO loud, and crazy with no stop Lets Go Wings chants! My cousin and tried starting a Kippppperrrrr Kippperrrrr chant but it only worked for like .5 seconds. LOL You guys, the Wings were freaking DOMINANT as hell. They did not take any crap from the Flames at all! I knew we'd see a different, more physical Wings team this post season. I just knew it! Teams think they can walk all over us and well tonights game should just show em that we ain't taking s*** anymore, but instead will DISH it out! Franzen is phenemonal. That guy is a beast! Cleary had a fantastic game, the kids were amazing, Lilja was a wall back on the blue line, he was so great on the PK and taking plays away from the Flames. The Wings absoultey manhandled them in every category. This was a VERY convincing win. I have not felt this good about the Wings in quite a while. I know im always positive..but tonight I just saw something different and it was great!! BTW, the Wings OUT HIT the Flames by won. WOWZA. That is what I like to see!!!!! Let's do it again on Sunday!!!!!!! Flames are gonna come at us hard, but we gotta throw it right back and play our game!! BTW, the bird on the ice was too cute. Everytime it was around the Wings would score. Hahaha GO WINGS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
