Something doesn't seem right. When Bert first got hit, they sat him out the rest of the game as a precauationary. He then practices the very next day and says he feels really good. He actually practiced the entire time as well. Babs and the rest of the team including Bert said he'd be fine and would be definitely ready to go for the playoffs. Now all of a sudden Babcock is doubting this? Weren't we suppose to know about the test results early today? It just seems like something fishy.. either the Wings are doing this to mess up the Flames game plans or something is up. I just don't understand how he goes from being fine, just having to shake it off, and definitely being available for game 1 to now being doubtful.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Flames are making their plans right now, looking through tapes on the Wings and such and are thinking to themselves..okay, Bert isn't going to be in the line up so we don't got to cover him right now. And then BAM! Bert is a last minute decision and the Flames never saw it coming!

What the hell does the past or history of their prior playoff performances have to do with now? That is what pisses me off. That was then, this is now. It's a whole new game. For whatever reason, analysts, columnists..etc.. love to predict failure for the Wings..EVEN following seasons where they've won the Cup. They can go shove it where the sun don't shine. On my way back from class I was listening to WDFN and they said Bert didn't practice today because he's awaiting his base line test results, but that he would most likely play Thursday. Happy Birthday! Yep. I heard the same thing on 1130 WDFN.

I actually really like the Sabres as well, they are my third favorite team. I don't know I just have this strange feeling in this series.

He had an appointment yesterday with a neurologist so we should know soon enough if he'll at all be able to come back and play. He said he's been feeling real good of late, but I guess it's up to the Doc.

What? I'm sorry but I absolutely disagree. The Wings are one of the best teams when it comes to gelling together/chemistry. As for heart? How can you actually even put that out there? If they didn't have heart then they wouldn't be where they are at right now. If they didn't have heart then they wouldn't have proved everyone wrong with making the playoffs, and getting the #1 seed when majority predicted failure. If they didn't have heart then the entire Wings line up wouldn't have stepped up their game each and everytime their roster was depleted due to injuries. The Wings have plenty of heart.

I'll be at the game as well!!!! I cannot wait! My cousin and I have been counting the days down. WOOOOO GO WINGS!!! I am not as blessed with where the seats are but still..just being there is good enough! I can't wait to see the playoff theme, song, lights and all the pre game stuff they do!

What do you mean reseed? Say the Wings advance to the second round. Them being the #1 they'll face the lowest seeded team left for round 2 and so. So if the top 4 seed teams make it. Wings will face #4, and then the #2 team will face the #3 team. Highest ranked team *from the season* faces the lowest ranked that's still in it..and so on.. I think that is what you meant?

Let them punks doubt all they want. Wings will show 'em who's boss and who's coming out on top.

Cujo was amazing in the series. He was the only one doing his job. I even recall his goals against being around a .39. He was excellent. I remember how absolutely AWFUL I felt for him. All the crap he was put through with the goalie go round, sending him to GR..etc. All that and he was a class act about it all and played his ass off. The guy is amazing in my books and I still wish to this day that somehow he'll get his Cup before he retires.
