Please tell me how the hell his personal life plays into his on ice performance? As far as im concerned it's no one's business, and it absolutely does not take away from the amazing goaltender that he is. You obviously don't like him therefore you're going to discredit him. The Avs beat the Nucks tonight getting 93 points. Flames were down 4-1 in the third with 6 minutes left and scored two goals, but couldn't get the tying goal. Shocking that the Avs are still much in it but they really do need everything going for them the rest of the way out. They both have two games left. Avs vs. Preds and Flames vs. Oilers on Saturday, THEN for the season finale they face each other. Imagine if the Avs win against the Preds, and the Oilers beat the Flames. Avs with 95 points, Flames with 96 and so whoever wins the game on Sunday would make the 8th spot. Now that would be EXCITING!!!!

They asked Kenny about Hanks's health. "If the playoffs started tonight, he'd be dressed for the game." He says he's not 100% healthy, but he'll be ready to go. Also said Bert had a full practice today and looked good. He's going to take further tests just for precautionary reasons, but he's fine. He won't play tomorrow, but will definitely be ready for Game 1.

I actually agree and see where Doug is coming from with what he says. I just kinda wanted the pressure on Dats to perform at his best in the playoffs to earn the stay with the Wings. But whatever..signing him is great regardless.
