A sprain is much much worse. Just like if you were to sprain your leg, knee, ankle..etc. A strain is moreso soreness, and like someone else said on here for an example: When you don't have a good sleep or are positioned badly and wake up with pain in your neck. That's what a strain would feel like. Usually goes away in a couple days..sometimes less.

Yeah. It's more about being sore, and having tightness in the neck than anything. He should be fine. I think they'll sit him out against the Hawks which would give him a good week or so if he even really needs that..

Yeah a strain and sprain are sure different! When I first saw 'sprain' I nearly had a heart attack! LOL I was like OMG HE IS DONE! but yeah..a strain is nothing..just soreness in his neck. They just showed the replay from the collision with Ozzie and that definitely got him up high around the neck so it makes sense.

You can't be serious. The Wings are not going to play like this in the playoffs. Lots of the powerhouse teams in the west have been playing like this and losing to bottom feeding teams. It's hard to get up for games like this when you already know you're in the playoffs, and will more than likely have the division/conference clinched.

They clinch the conference and division. The Ducks just lost in a shootout to the Sharks, they now have 107 points with 2 games left meaning at the most they can get 111. What's also interesting is if the Flames win tomorrow, the Avs are out, and Calgary clinches a playoff spot. If the Wild win or at least get one point then it's official that it will be Wings/Flames first round. Just thought I'd point it all out. They are all 'if' situations, but it's looking more like it'll be all official tomorrow.
