??? So what? I think it's great if Dom gets the rest, same goes for Lids. I'd do the same if I were Babs. Teams like the Hawks have a tendency to go after and take a run at the other teams' star players just to play spoilers and ruin it for us because they aren't making the playoffs. That isn't a risk the Wings should take so good on Babs part.

I agree that the ice girls should leave and that they are annoying as hell, but that in no way gives the players a right to do what they did. Let the annoying chicks do their job and thats that. No need for the players to be a bunch of jackasses.

It's pathetic and im sick of it. It wasn't right to begin with and it's getting damn old. Fans should recognize all he's done for the Wings and how huge he was to their success. The only reason they boo him is because he signed elsewhere, yet no one even knows the real reason why Fedorov decided to go. If im not mistaken he needed some time from the Wings management because he was having issues in his personal life. They didn't give him that little time he needed to make a decision and so he went elsewhere. Good for him. I'd do the same. People need to get the hell over it already. The guy deserves cheers, not boo's. I sometimes wish I was at games against the Blue Jackets so I can go there along with some friends and cheer so loud for him in hopes that it will out do the boo's. lol seriously. As for Shanny, he'll never get booed. He left on good terms and just did what he felt was best for the team.

He better be re-signed! He's exactly what the Wings have been missing. The guy is a phenemonal hockey player. Big, tough as hell, great hands, drives to the net...etc. He's great and I've been really impressed with his play thus far. He'll only get better in the playoffs. Also, he rarely ever smiles. I don't think that it means that he doesn't like it here. Why else would he constantly say that he loves it here? I just think that he's not an overly excited player. Everytime I see him on the bench im like..oh my god..Todd smile! hahaha but then I realize that's just him.

You keep doubting the Wings, or you keep doubting the Flames so you won't be scared of facing them? Which is why I think it'll be different this year. I think they've finally learned their lesson and won't be pushed around anymore. Adding Markov, Bert, Calder, Flip, Hudler, etc.. makes a huge difference as well. I love that more than half the team compared to years past have never won the Cup. It makes them hungry and WANT to win.

Hasek is pretty darn good too. If it is going to be the Wings and Flames first round it's all going to come down to scoring. *I know that it's quite obvious because you need to score to win but you know what I mean!* Obviously the Wings are MUCH more talented/skilled up front than the Flames, but come playoff time they have to show it and step it up. But really, im not scared of them. They don't even phase me actually. lol and I don't know why that is. Back in '04 I was scared of them, and last year I was scared of the Oilers. This time around for some odd reason I don't get that effect from any team.

I agree. Flames don't scare me at all. I'm so sick of everyone underestimating the Wings. Maybe them going out and beating the Flames will shut everyone up.

Should wait until offseason. If Dats really loves it here, then he'll prove it by playing great in the playoffs which shows he wants to stay. Play great, and show that you're actually the real deal come post season THEN the Wings can re-sign him. That's the way I see it anyway..

Does anyone know how high up the rows go? I have section 226 B, row 22. LOL not the best seats but it's all good as long as im there. Any seat at the Joe is good, right? I don't think I've ever been that high up.

Today and tomorrow are big in terms of playoff match ups, who's making it..who's not..clinching...etc. If the Ducks lose tonight, the Wings will need one point to clinch the conference, if the Ducks get 1 point, then the Wings will need 2 more points to clinch If the Wings get at least 1 point tomorrow they clinch the division. If the Flames win tomorrow, they are locked for the playoffs and the Avs are out If the Wild win tomorrow and the Flames get one point then it's going to be Wings vs. Flames in the first round as the Flames won't be able to catch up with the Wild with their 2 remaining games.

It's understandable that we all want to see him play at least one game before the playoffs just to see how he is. The thing is..I was thinking about it and playing against a team like the Hawks, where they have nothing to lose..kinda scares me. I always get the weird feeling that the bottom feeders try and take out the superstars on teams that are going to the playoffs. Therefore, I don't want to see Hank play till the playoffs. I do think if he feels ready he'll go. If he says he's healthy then he is, he won't play if he's got the slightest bit doubt that he can't do anything out there.

Great post and thread. I haven't been a Dom fan either, but he's played GREAT this season and deserves all the props. Ozzie has been great as well. We have the two hottest goaltenders in the league. No other team can say they have a goaltending tandem that both have a stanley cup ring. TAKE THAT! haha seriously though..I don't even mind Dom anymore. I definitely don't dislike him. And no one better be bashing on Mags!
