I actually don't remember the Selanne thing! But ditto to the rest you said.
-
Well you just wait till the playoffs. You will like them all I bet!
-
Haha well I've always had a problem with him for a few reasons: 1.He's a big guy, that I think if he wanted to..could beat the hell outta a lot of players. He never uses his body to his advantage and that would piss me off. 2. When at even strength..he'd more than half the time cough up the puck which would absolutely make me fume! Now with all that being said, he's finally played a lot better! The game against the Ducks made us all see a new and more brighter version of Mr.Lilja. He was was physical, throwing his body around, sticking up for his mates, fighting, and just playing some great hockey. That's what I always thought he could be capable of and finally he came through! If he does step up in Kronner's place and play this throughout the playoffs I think we will all be delighted. That is all.

You like a Red Wing player?! Did he seriously break his butt? I am confused. Haha
-
Hmmm well I completely disagree. One of his strongest assets is his play on the PK. I don't think he's slow at all, actually. He's great on the forecheck and back check, and gets down low to take shots away, and is always willing to sacrifice his body. I might not care for Lilja but if there's one thing I've always liked about him is his play on the PK.
-
Isn't on the PK? I think thats where Andreas is best. Lids is out for tomorrow's game.
-
The second Kronwall stepped on the ice for the first time as a Wing he became one of my faves. He's got great potential, but the injuries have got the best of him. Maybe the Wings will stick around till June so Nik can get back in.
-
I am hoping Lidstrom really is okay, because they always say something isn't serious and then it turns out to be the opposite.
-
The thing with Kronwall is he hasn't been able to show us much because of his injuries. Ever season since he's been in the league he has a devasting injury that puts him out for either half the season or the whole. Even when he had the face guard for the few months he wasn't playing that great because of it. It's hard playing with a mask on your face like that because lots of the time you can't really see the puck due to the chin pad and such. I think he's a very good, capable d-man and will be great for the Wings in the upcoming years and features. He's gotta stay healthy..that's all.
-
Wouldn't the Griffs need him for the playoffs? I would think just in case though like you stated that he might stay.
-
His season is done. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=202299&hubname=nhl BTW, Quincey was only called up because Lidstrom will be missing one game. Lebda is ready to go, and Lilja will play throughout the playoffs.

I am fumed. Why does he have such HORRIBLE luck? I feel awful for him. One of the two D-Men on our team that is actually physical and likes to lay some hits out and now he's doe. WTF.
-
No Kronner...noooo.
-
I absolutely confused in if I want the Wings to be in first or fourth place. Do I root for the Preds or Stars tonight?!
-
I hope he's okay. Hopefully we'll find out soon.
-
Yeah, but I was talking in general as most playoff tickets would probably be very similar.
-
The Wings slacked off the last 5-10 minutes of the game. The Stars picked up on it and scored three times within about 7 minutes. Going into the shootout Dom made the first save, Datsyuk doesn't score, Zubov scores, Cleary doesn't score, Dom makes another save, Bertuzzi doesn't score. Game over.
-
Usually the night the regular season ends. They'll have the dates on the news, or FSN.
-
Ouch. I don't want to know how much Rounds 3 and 4 are. lol I just got up and checked my ticket from last year and it was $81 for section 203. That's crazzzzay. Oh well. I still REALLY want to go.
-
Thanks. Any idea how much upper bowl would be?
-
I'm actually starting to prefer the Stars as well. I wonder from here on out what would have to happen for the Wings and Stars to be a first round match up?
-
He is really talented. Not only in hockey, but in acting as well!
-
Why not just wait to talk about his in the offseason? There's no telling what can happen from now till the end of the post season.
-
Usually I'd be pissed after a loss like this..but I don't really care. At least the Stars didn't score to win it in regulation. I know..I know..shouldn't have let the 3-0 lead slip, but I just think the Wings don't care right now and just want to head into the playoffs. It's really pointless playing these last four games but you have to so there. I'm just hoping Kronner is okay. I can't believe some on here are acting like the world has just ended after tonight's loss. No, the Wings won't play like this in the playoffs. They actually played really well tonight..except for the last 5 minutes which came back to bite em, but be assured that come post season you won't see that out there.
-
You know what's odd though? It seems like the injuries where at the moment the player is in A LOT of pain..are the injuries that are nothing to worry about. It's the one's that don't look so bad that are scary. If i'm even making sense? But yeah..hopefully Kronwall is okay.
