You know I had an awful day yesterday, but guess who brightened it up?! That's right..Chris Osgood. What an amazing performance by him yet again! When the "Ozzie clique" says something about how capable he is and that he is still a great goalie...you all should listen. This is seriously some of the best hockey I've seen him play. It's like the Ozzie from the 90's x2. haha LOVE IT! Also, what a great play by Bert for the Datsyuk goal. What a sweet, sweet move. He made it look so easy. I gotta say too, that first goal by the Preds was great. The passing and skill they possess is sick! *in a good way* My mouth pretty much dropped when I was watching. Hate em...but they are a great, skilled team.

Radio wise it's all about the Pistons, Tigers, and Lions. Tv wise..it's all about the Wings. *news, fsn, etc..*

Are you kidding yourself? Osgood didn't win one time against the Preds. In his last three starts against them he earned a possible 5 out of 6 points. That is great. Not only that but he played amazing in every one of those games. No goalie in the NHL has a better record against the Preds than Ozzie does so that right there speaks for itself. Preds fans don't even want their team facing Ozzie. What does that tell you? Osgood is not a mediocre goalie. He is still a great goalie and can get the job done. Babcock and the rest of the team INCLUDING Hasek has confidence in him and rightfully so. He's earned it, and he's earned playing tonight. As for your whole 'far superior' comment. Did anyone in here state that Osgood was better than Hasek? No. So way to go on that one! Ever think that maybe he's starting Dom against the Stars because they are a likely first round opponent? It does make sense. You can go ahead and think what you want and doubt all you want, fact of the matter is Babs knows what he's doing and made a really good decision for tonight's game.

You know..I absolutely love the Tigers as well, but I hate the fact that they make it seem like all the teams are competing against each other. It's pathetic that they have to put the Wings and Pistons down just because the Tigers went to the World Series last season. Why can't they just call Detroit a great hockey, baseball, and basketball town instead of saying it's only now a baseball town, and making it seem like the Wings and Pistons don't mean anything anymore. It's dumb and im sick of it. All Detroit teams are great. They should all stick together and be one big happy family. No competition.

I really hope Babs stays around for a long time. I think he's a great, fiesty coach and he's exactly what the Wings need. He's a perfect fit for this team.

lol you are apart of the board so any and all opinions are welcomed! I agree with you, btw. I'd always get that feeling though that the Hawks may try and run at him or something..that's the worst part about being so close to the playoffs, bottom feeders try and take you out.
