I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not, but if you aren't I don't think in any way that Travis is a ***** or that he can't fight. He's one hell of a fighter, actually. I just think that in this fight it's either a draw or that Andreas won..I'll give him the edge. Your ava! All aboard the Lilja bandwagon!! I actually thought he played really well! At first he seemed a little scared and very cautious out there. After 4-5 shifts he seemed to feel more comfortable and started playing his game. Had a few hits, drove to the net, played on the PP, PK..etc. It excites me knowing that the guy hasn't played in 6 months and for it being the first time in so long he played well. You would think that after that much time not playing that he'd be much more rusty than he was tonight. He's going to be a DOMINANT force come playoff time. I just know it!! Atta boy Bert! Also, how funny was it that in one of his first few shifts he gets the puck to the face by Cheli! Haha he laughed about it after it happened which I thought was great. Anywho. Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?

I know im going to get ragged on for this, but after watching the fight a couple more times I'm going to have to give the edge to..Lilja. That's me totally not being bias but just the way I see it. Lilja actually landed punches on Moen where as when Lils tripped he had his jersey also over his head and while Travis was throwing punches, they either didn't connect or he kept hitting Andreas' jersey. Therefore I give Lilja the win.

He won't. That's the last game of his suspension.

That's honestly exactly what I was thinking last night when it happened! I was like it is that EVERYTIME the Wings get into something big *brawl, fights, etc..or just something that sparks them* that they go on to go very far into the playoffs..and well...you know, lift that silver thing. !!! lksjklgskgjs Okay I am calming down now. That was probably the most convincing win all season wasn't it? GO WINGS!!!!!!!!

LMAO oh believe me, it has gotten ugly. There are times where I'm like "OMG just please stop talking to me because you have angered me!" He'll always rag on Ozzie *even though he likes him and I know he does* but somehow I'll always get upset regardless. It's like all my faves he purposely bashes to get me riled up because he thinks its funny. And I'm always like 'Well I'd bash someone you like on the Wings..but I love them too much so I won't!" All in all though I love watching with my Dad. He is my hockey buddy! The whole family watches it..mainly my Dad, sis and myself..but only my Dad and I watch all the season and playoffs. No one in your family watches hockey with you? Get them into it!! My entire family does including my aunt's, uncles, relatives..etc. We are Red Wing/Hockey crazy! My Dad is a big soccer fan as well. He played it for many years and that's why he loves hockey so much because he believes its very similar.

NOOO DIPI! I'm pulling for them. They'll make the playoffs! *crosses fingers*

I'm all about home ice advantage. GO OILERS! They got absolutely beaten by the Preds in the last game so hopefully they'll want some revenge!

Atta boy Lils!!! I think Im going to put the first one as my background?! That is how proud I am of this man. Hahaha serioulsy though. Allllll this time we all bitched about him because he's such a big guy and can do some damage with some hits, and sticking up for himself and his teammates and fighting. FINALLY he does it and look how it sparked the team up. PLUS he had a really good game last night especially on the PK. HAHA once again my Dad does the same thing to me. If Lilja goes to the box he's like "Oh Reem look..your favorite is in the penalty box" and then im like UGH! And there are times when say Schneider or Lebs give up the puck..I won't say anything. My Dad will then say.."But oh if that was Lilja you'd be all over him for that play!"

Haha I am the EXACT same way. In fact I yell at anyone who dare talks during games. It's funny because my relatives know NOT to come over during game days because I won't have any of it. It's like everyone is silent during commercials but when the game is on everyone talks and I get pissed! I'm always all "Can you guys pleas be quiet they are on a power play! GEEZ!" Full concentration is on the boys in red and white and that's how it will always go. Of course though if they wanted to come watch with me and the fam and be quiet then im all for it. When we score though..the house is absolutely CRAZY!

I loved that they were shocked. Maybe they and the rest of the NHL will realize that the Wings are finally ready to step it up!

Schneids is a very awesome, likeable guy. I absolutely love him and hope they re-sign him. "Great job Kronner, hair looks good..hair looks real good" as Kronner's helmet is off. Hahaha

Right after the horn went for the first period to end, Niedermayer laid a late hit on Calder which pissed Schneider right the hell off which sparked the big scrum. Sammy got into, Schneids got into, and then Moen and Lilja somehow found each other and fought! lol

Since Bert became a Wing I envisioned him to be on a line with Hank and Pavs. I think they'd be excellent together..then again the chemistry with Homer there is really good. Same goes for the Calder/Lang/Huds line. I want them to stick together but if Bert plays with Hank and Dats, no way Homer gets bumped to the third line with Langer, Huds and Calder ahead of him on the second line. Also not knowing who that last spot goes to really makes it difficult as well to predict..So basically..i'm confused. Whatever works I guess. We'll just have to wait and see.

You are probably right. I think I got SO excited because I never seen Lils fight and it was just perfect timing to spark them up! It makes a huge difference and it was great seeing the Wings play so physical and just seeing the impact it makes. But I will still everytime pick the Wings over the Ducks. *if they play like they did tonight*

Ohh yes I'm pretty sure it happens to everyone. It's quite scary and exciting! haha

Come on Jeff..no way Moen beat Lilja. And Lills didn't get the best of Moen either. If anything it was a draw. Lilja got the upperhand in the beginning but then he tripped and Moen took over at the end. That it was I call a draw! You at least gotta admit the Wings played a really tough, gritty game tonight. Right? Everyone makes the Ducks out to be the toughest team in the league and if today's game is any idication of how tough these guys are then they don't scare me at all. I mean I know it's just ONE game but the way the Wings played tonight showed me that IF they play physical they have a great chance of winning and going far. Anywho, great game by the Wings tonight! Full 60 minutes! Great goaltending, and a great all around job by anyone. BTW..am I the only one that thought Kronner had a really good game? I don't think he was awful at all. Probably the best game he's had in the last month. Dats is amazing as usual. Rex is the man. Franzen is a physical force. Yeah I just said that..because he is. Awesome game tonight! GO WINGS!!!!!!!

HELL YES! GO LILS! GO SAMMY! GO SCHNEIDS! It's amazing how us Wings fans get SO excited over this eh? This is EXACTLY what they have been lacking! If they always played like this it would make the team so much better as in toughness and not constantly being taken advantage of . WINGS WILL NOT BE MESSED WITH ANYMORE.

ANDREAS LILJA, I LOVE YOU!!!! That's what I'm talking about baby!! This is why I always ranted on the guy. He's a big boy and he never stood up for himself and fought. Now FINALLY he has! Maybe this will up his game. The Wings playing physical against the Ducks is saying A LOT! This is freaking great. Gives me the goosebumps! See how Schneids stuck up for Sammy and Calds. THAT IS ALL ABOUT TEAM! This is what we need heading into the playoffs!
