Amen to that. Those injuries would easily put them out for a month or so if it were regular season. Amazing they played through it.

For some reason it hasn't hit me yet if that makes sense? Kinda have the numb/shocked feeling. I REALLY truly felt we'd win tonight and be the Champs again. I'm heartbroken and I don't know...I know it'll get worse once it all sinks in.

Thanks, Wings. It was a fantastic season and hell of a post season, just a little bit short of the Cup, and although it's really heartbreaking I am really proud of you guys. Bring the Cup home in '10!

I don't even know what to say. Those guys skating out there in red and white were not the Red Wings. They just weren't. This is such an god awful horrible feeling. It hurts so damn bad. I really feel for Ozzie and Flip. Especially in this game where it seemed like they were the only ones to show up. Regardless of how heartbreaking this is, I'm very proud of our Wings. We'll win it in '10. -

I've been up early today because of the excitement/nervousness! This is truly an amazing day and will be an amazing night when our boys win! I've got all the faith in the world in them. I finished off the things I have to do for the day so now I'm just gonna relax (yeah right) until the game! But first I gotta put me on a fresh coat of red and white nail polish. I wouldn't be surprised! LOL I remember before the playoffs started some psychic was asked who would win the Cup and he said it was a team in red. Which totally could of been Washington, Carolina, Montreal or the Wings. : )
