How can you guys hate on JR. I think the Wings NEED a character type of player such as himself. He'd be great..and he is still pretty damn tough. I don't know, I just think if JR were to come here he'd be a whole different player. Playing on a GREAT team does do that to ya.

Why are some of you dissing this trade? Give props to Holland. He upgraded over Willie. Calder isn't garbage. If on his game, and on the RIGHT team he can really make things happen. I'm all for this. BTW, the Wings aren't done dealing. You can pretty much bank on that. -

Amen..BRTD. Very well said. Am I the only one that thinks Calder is a much better upgrade over Willy? Honestly though I love Jason as a person and it's sad to see him go. You get attached to players whether you think they are great or not. -

LMAO. Me too! I always have a hard time sleeping before the deadline, and the day before the playoffs. It's even worse because I have class tomorrow at 7-11:30 lkjgkljsgs!! WHAT WILL I DO?! Nothing better go down by then. They should know better and just wait till I get home. Haha

I know..I know another thread but hey, it's kinda new info! Holland is looking to add a forward or two to help the 2nd/3rd lines. Wings scouts have been in Chicago the past couple of days, and Holland says he's been talking to the Panthers GM a lot. Yeah..I don't see us getting Guerin. Look how much Tkachuk went for. I'd imagine Guerin's asking price would be even more. M-Live Btw, I really HOPE that he is not interested in Stumpel or Roberts. No thank you.

I'm totally lost. I don't get why they'd call Ellis up. Even if a trade were in the works why would you have to bring someone up? Unless the player we are trading for won't be able to play right away that is.. Ahh I just saw this now. Yeah I was thinking the same thing.

Atta boy Lebs! I remember the beginning of last season everyone was saying he'd just be here for a few games and be sent back down. That he was 'too small' and didn't have much to offer. Boy has he proved everyone wrong. I absolutely love the guy, and his skill he brings. He's very smart out there, and his speed is one of a kind..especially for a D-man. I've got the feeling that in the future he'll he one of those D-man that scores about 15 goals a season.
