Well the Preds are going to win tonight. They are up 4-0 in the third against the Sharks! Anywho. Great game by Smith and Ozzie..now it's time for the Wings to step it up and score!

Osgood has won plenty of 'tight games' in his career. He's also WON games for his team(s) before so he's more than capable of taking on the Stars. Osgood's best numbers are against the Stars, Lightning, and Nucks and I have all the faith in the world he'll do just fine tonight. Stars don't give us a tough battle with Turco in net. Turco has won ONE game against the Wings in his career. He plays horrid against them.

He should re-sign him. What price? Not a clue. How much is Schneids making right now? Around 3.5 mil? I think IF Schneids is willing to take a pay cut around 2.5 to 3 mil at the most then the Wings would definitely keep him. If not, then he'd probably sign elsewhere for more money.

Tkachuk is what the Wings need, Roberts isn't. Some on here were saying that Keith being 34 is old and washed up..yet lets bring in a 40 year old who's best playing days are behind him. Not to mention the fact that he is often injured.

Doan is the only one that interests me, and I really don't even see that happening. Especially if he really wants to stay in Phoenix.

Exactly. People assume it's so very easy to just get right back into game shape and leave off to how you were playing before the injury. That's not the case. Give the guy some time. Schneider has been excellent since the Wings acquired him in '03. As for taking too many shots, my Dad was saying the same thing. He thinks Schneids is selfish, but I just say he's got a hell of a shot and scores a lot so he may as well take em at every chance that he gets. Although the 3 on 2 wasn't a very smart idea on his part.

I was reading Ek's latest rumors and he says Joseph is a possibilty for Detroit! Am I missing something? I love Cujo but that could never happen, unless there's something going on with our goalies that we don't know about? Also, Holland has said he's trying to make the Wings as strong as he can heading into the playoffs and is willing to trade some assets of the team. Holland says he's touched based with forward moving clubs

I don't think that last nights game had or will have anything to do with what Forsberg thinks. He knows as does every other player in the league that the Wings are a great team, and a Cup contending team. It'd be completely idiotic to just base it on last night. Especially since it was a back to back game and it was obvious the Wings weren't into it when they came out flat from the get go. That's going to happen to every team. It shouldn't have an impact on Forsberg to Detroit at all. Btw, I really don't see the Preds getting him. I bet all this talk about the Wings, Preds, Habs..etc being the frontrunners doesn't even mean anything. Watch some other team that hasn't even been mentioned yet go out and get Forsberg. That's how it always seems to go.
