Brainless Campbell for the WIN!

How is it that Campbell calls Kronner gutless for a clean hit and then spouts off and threatens that the Hawks are going to get revenge on Nik. Really now? That's not "gutless"?

LOL gutless is the new favorite term in the NHL. 100% clean hit. If Havlat would of got up right after the hit, there would be no such talk going on by the Hawks team. Only reason why they think it's 'dirty' is because Martin was extremely shaken up. That does happen with clean hits too ya know...

There's nothing wrong with fans getting pissed after a loss everyone has a right to be pissed, but it's when some of you suddenly after a loss call the Wings out with remarks such as "if only they decided to show up tonight and play" "so and so sucks" "this series is over if they continue to be lazy" etc... it's like good god just last game everyone was soo very positive and a game later they are being called out to no end. It's freaking annoying and such a bandwagon move by majority on these boards. And of course the reply to this will be the bashing of us homer-ism fans which is really not the case. I think some of just like to be positive and when they do lose we don't jump all over the guys because we KNOW there is no way in hell they are going to win every game and there is no way they are going to come out playing a perfect 60 minutes game in and out. They are going to have bad games, they are going to have a couple bad periods, and maybe one good period and so on and so forth. Anyone that expects them to have their A game each and every game is delusional and that is what gets me the most from fans.

Is Khabibulin injured or did they pull him after 3 goals? For some reason I couldn't understand what was going on with the whole goalie situation.

It was gripe, but at the same time like I said earlier when the Wings are getting penalty after penalty *most of them being BS* what do you expect to happen? Chicago got the first period completely handed to them by the refs. Completely. I'm not pissed because the entire first period the Wings had to kill penalties. Yet in the 2nd they came back to tie the game. They could of won, yes but I'm over it.

Yes. I am so very serious. The Wings were down 3-0 and came back which is huge in itself. A win would of been FANTASTIC. But I won't get down on the team for coming up a little short in a game like tonight when everything was going against them and they had pretty much 12 minutes to kill in penalties alone in the first period. Was I mad after we lost? Of course. Then I realized wow the Hawks had us at 3-0, and the Wings almost pulled out a win. I've picked the Wings in 5 from the beginning and that's what I'm sticking with. Had the Hawks won Game 2 & this one in OT..it'd be a different story.

It's one of those games where I don't even it take it as a Wings loss. Coming back from 3-0 is huge. Good on the boys. I can't be mad about this at all...

Agreed. I thought for a second that Kronner left his feet a bit but after watching a few replays I saw that it wasn't the case at all. Got a feeling the Wings are coming out of this with a W. They failed horribly on the PP's they were given. Have to think that the Wings will get their fair share of opportunities in the 2nd and 3rd and will hopefully capitalize on 'em.
