How you can compare the two is beyond me. No it's not the same, and it's quite insulting to Osgood. He's achieved and accomplished pretty much everything he could ask for in his NHL career. He can talk and say whatever he wants because you know what? He doesn't have to prove a thing to anyone.

Much better to be positive then down on yourself. Osgood, like myself is a fellow Sagittarian. We're optimistic to no end. Yeah it might be a little much at time, but it sure as hell beats being negative. Being positive brings forth confidence. Ain't nothing wrong with that.

It's kind of heart breaking to hear, but it's a good move as I think it will *help* Ozzie after he clears his mind and starts playing again. I don't think it's that the team or the coaches lost confidence in Oz. Kenny thinks giving him time off will help and that he wants to see him at his best. That's not loss of confidence, that's him wanting his goaltender to get better and play like he did last year.

I'm not going to relax. Especially when people are trashing him like no other. You know I'll more than admit that he's been really bad this season, that he hasn't been himself. But when people start trashing his career and suddenly saying his Cup wins is because of the team in front of him, that's when I get pissed the hell off. Amazing how last season he was one of our savior's, but now because he's had a bad season suddenly last year and pretty much his entire career means jack s***.
