Great thread. I agree with everything. I've had friends and family members calling me up during the game *most that weren't really fans of hockey* and they were all telling me how into the game they were and how exciting and intense it was. They all stayed up watching till the very end. I think that in itself says a lot. Although it wasn't the outcome us Wings fans hoped for, it was still one of the best games I've ever watched.

Yeah. My point was I'd rather have them raise the Cup on the road, then not raise it at all or lose the series.

Way to contradict yourself. Ozzie played some of his best hockey with the Isles. He was given an MVP award from the team for a reason. Ozzie is more than a solid goaltender, and he's a hell of a lot more than good.

Some of you are damn pathetic. It amazes me that you call yourselves Wings fans, and yet the second something goes wrong you call for their heads on a platter. Get real. If you can't be with your teams through ups and downs, wins and losses, then maybe you don't deserved to be called a fan.

I do realize that everyone is angered, but there's a difference between being pissed off, and the things you post on this board. Do you not realize how bad it makes you look when you are cussing the team up left and right and saying FU to certain players. You don't think they want to win this? Because we all know they do. They IMO had one bad period and that was the first. They outplayed the Pens for the majority of the last 5 periods. It had to take a stupid 4 minute penalty on us for those bastards to score. Calm the hell down. The most important thing is the Wings are up 3-2 in the series. Game 7 won't even happen. Is it so damn hard for some of you to be positive?
