http://www.edmontonjournal.com/sports/hock...2702/story.html I would have to agree with that assessment, The Pens are getting rid of the igloo, the Isles are redoing the Nassau. That leaves the Joe and Rexall Place as the NHL's oldest arenas. I don't know if Edmonton would like "abandoning" the place of the Oiler glory years, but if the Leafs can leave MLG, and the Habs to leave the Forum, and the Hawks to leave Chicago Stadium. I think the Oilers could leave Rexall. The place is backwards for TV, having the Benches on the TV side and the visitors have to walk almost around the arena to the locker room, the home team literally has to walk through the concourse to get to and from the ice. It's time. That being said, the Red Wings should also be on the list of teams looking at new venues, but I think with the current state of the US economy and the Michigan economy even worse, the Wings are stuck at the joe for another 10 years or so (IMHO). Now, the Wings really could do some upgrades to the arena. I think it is time for a new scoreboard at the joe, I know they just replaced the video screens about 3 years ago, but the boards in the corners of the arena are old and outdated and are just in the way, they can go. They also have the out of town scoreboards on the sides. When I was there for the Columbus game a few weeks ago, none of them were working.

Only when I can't find the clippers. But TPBM was having some Pringles while watching Maury..

Hopefully this means that Leino has finally broken out of his funk.

Griffins were outshot 38-27, Larsson stops all 38. Three Stars... 3. Jakub Kindl (3 Assists) 2. Daniel Larsson (38 Saves) 1. Ville Leino (2 goals) 11 Griffins with at least a point, 5 Griffins with multiple points.

Oh come on, I went to Ravinia a few years ago, and the Ryan was the nicest 2 hour parking lot in Chicago. (Got stuck between the skyway and downtown)

http://www.nbcchicago.com/sports/hockey/bl...st_Chicago.html Nice. This game will really go off without a hitch with idiots like these running the show.

I don't really count MSG. MSG underwent a major renovation and multi million dollar upgrade in 1991. It's almost like a new MSG.

I wonder what the Slovakian word for "***" is?????

Now that Leino has scored a goal for the first time in almost two months, lets hope he can keep it going.
-
Grand Rapids wins 5-1. Good win against a quality opponent. (even if Syracuse has lost 7 straight)

Abdelkader from Leino and Pyett 15:04-3rd Griffins lead 5-1!!! Take note Red Wings, this is what it's like to lead by more than a goal.
