Liv maybe reconsidering coming back to North America, however... IMHO, I don't think that he will. Now I am not saying that there is no chance that he won't come back. There is a chance that he may have gotten the initial shock of the north american game out of his system. But if he's given the chance at the number one, then he might come over, which also means that he's going to be the first one called up of Osgood or Howard are out. The Wings were SOLD OUT. All tickets sold..... 20,066 official attendance... The Pistons were SOLD OUT. All tickets sold..... 22,076 official attendance according to the NBA. The Tigers were SOLD OUT.. All tickets sold..... 41,137 official attendance according to MLB. (100.2%) Making a Grand total of 83,279 All at or exceeding capacity. Now I did see some empty seats at the Tigers game, but when all three were playing at the same time. 83,279!!!!

During Gary's little press conference before game 1 he said there was no chance of expansion or relocation anytime soon. Which means the Wings are stuck in the west for another 5 years or so. Our best hope for an Eastern alignment would have been if Pittsburgh was moved to Kansas City. But not happening. Gary did mention that KC and Seattle were looking at teams. Seattle I think is a knee jerk reaction to them losing the Sonics. Key Arena isn't an NHL arena, they would need a new arena, which is why the Sonics moved anyways. If the NHL is serious about a team in the Pac Northwest, Portland would be the best choice, the Rose Garden is NHL ready, has 18,500 seating capacity for hockey. And they wouldn't be ruffling the territorial rights of the Canucks as Seattle would. Las Vegas is out of the question. I would expand to Milwaukee Wisconsin before Las Vegas.
