NBC has their priorities mixed up. They are calling the next Superbowl "Historic" because Springsteen is the halftime performer???? I think the game will be remembered more than the halftime, unless the Boss has a wardrobe malfunction and his pants fall down. But I doubt it. -

A great performance by the Griffins after a rough 7 hour bus ride back from Peoria on Tuesday night, I live along the lake in SW Michigan and know what they were facing for the last 100 miles of the trip back. Roads were icy, snow was really blowing hard.

They also have only allowed 5 goals in the last 6 games. They have 5 shutouts this season, and it's the second best start in Griffins franchise history.

Griffins just scored two quick ones. Lemieux got the 4-0 goal and McGrath just got the 5-0 goal... They are playing the Hawaii 5-0 theme. Lemieux from Pare at 3:46 and Galvin Unassisted at 4:12. (that may change though) EDIT, goal 5 to McGrath (8) from Galvin at 4:12
