when i used to work a circuit city as an evenining job, the TV demos played the '08 SC finals highlights, but they set it up like the Penguins won the cup. all they showed were cindy crosby scoring goals. never once did they show the Wings carrying the cup or even skating around. it was like they didnt even playing in the finals. pretty lame if you ask me. i guess we have to prove we won it two years in a row to show some people who is the best team in the world.

BTW whats the point of having an NHL NETWORK that doesnt play but two playoff games so far? seriously what a watest of time. that network is a joke.

i too remember this. they kept saying that we wouldnt miss a minute of the wings game when Chi went into OT. luckliy i found the phantom channel and didnt miss anything. but its the point. VS doesnt have their s*** together. just as bas the idiots running ESPN. hey directtv when can you get TSN!??

any ideas who is broadcasting the game? i didnt see them on my channel guide on DirectTV.

IF you have DirectTv as VS is on channel 603. if you check out channel 604 its also the same feed but much less commercials. you get to see the announcers on what they do between the commnercials. kinda cool to see. when they interview the coach/player on the bench, they do it during the commercial and then play it back once the commercials are done. I found it really interesting to see what happens during that short time period. i was also able to what the wings game while the blackhawks were in OT.

i wont be complaining about it. hopefully they miss it again on the tuesday game.

i dont know if they do or not. its first time ive seen that.

im with you Nicpdx, had the same issue as well with the center ice package. the channel guide stated the game was on but when you select it it gets blakced out. so you have 4 games going a night and on 2 are shown. GJ NHL way to spread the NHL out for those who might get interested in it.
