sorry about your luck RED, but I agee with Zion. I payed good money for my HD tv mostly for hockey (sports), and I pay extra to get these HD channels. So when they advertise the game in HD and its not on, it pisses me off too. N E-way, tonights game(1) was on MOJO HD, not Vs, here in Toledo, not sure why. I had my DVR set up to record on Vs.(they had golf on), luckily I got off work early enough to catch the last 2 periods live. Go Wings!!!

I saw a guy toss one last year against edmonton(playoffs). He just walked down into the lower bowl, tossed it, and walked back up. Didnt see anyone go after him. I think its all about timing.

Bad thing is the trap has gotten the Wings booted last couple of years. Teams know if they can score first, Detroit (usually) cant beat the trap. Simple fix--score early and often. :idea:

Combine that with SJ's 15 or so blocked shots. Blocked shots seem to be a real problem for the Wings.

i too take offense to being called an "inbred", I live in maumee and attend as many Storm games as possible. And as far as "hit somebody", its pretty much a given, as stated before, whoever sings knows and pauses for it. Its an ECHL game, no biggie IMO.

I did a search and didnt find anything, so hopefully this isnt too redundent. I was just thinking of what the odds are that Bert will be back next season. I'm sure it depends somewhat on what happens in the playoffs, but I personally like what I'm seeing so far. Hopefully he (and Calder) can prove to be the grit that this team has so despretly needed, cause I would love to see both of them in the winged wheel next october. Thoughts? side note: been awhile since we had a player that the opposition bounces off of (and injures themselves) when they attempt to hit'em.(Bert)
