Have they said what the cap will be next season yet?

Its funny, most people on here dont like the booing, yet most people at the Joe boo him*, hell, he even gets booed at home when they play the Wings. Just seems weird to me. I think he just left on bad terms. You didnt hear boos for Shanny, Mac or Larionov. *enough to hear it loud and clear on tv.

I'll have to say that is exactly what I was thinking (and looking for) when I posted this topic. If he does what he does best during the playoffs, then the managment needs to keep him around. What youngguns said, that I highlighted, is what sticks out the most to me.

Just wondering.....Usually if you are on the waiting list for season tickets you get a chance to buy playoff tics before the general public, are they not doing this for individual games this year. I got my e-mail about buying 8 or 16 game packs but nothing on individual games. Anyone know anything about this?

Last year against the oilers in the playoffs, I remember seeing a dude walking around outside JLA before the game with a plastic grocery bag all knotted up, then I seen the same guy inside during the game, still with the bag, I was thinking to myself, wonder whats in the bag(DUH). Then later in the game I saw him walk down into the lower bowl and pull the octi out and toss it. Point is, I think he just walked in with it in a bag, I asked the usher and he said the guy always does it in the playoffs. BTW, he didnt get kicked out either. ps. we had STO tickets, so thats why I was able to see all this.

I was thinking the same thing. Maltby does more (plays defense?) then just skate around like an out of control mini cooper. The eskimo is just out of control on the ice, hes reckless and with his charging every time he tries to hit someone, its only a matter of time before he hurts someone(hopefully himself). You cant get mad at the truth, and it goes both ways. Everywhere has their fair share of "poverty types", so if the occasional hillbilly/crackhead gangbanger comment comes out, so what. I can think of alot worse things to say about other teams or their fans. Im just glad theres a team in the central that is good enough to get wings fans riled up.

I would hate to see him in a wings jersey!! If he would have landed that charge last night he would prolly be suspended, but schnieds(i think it was him) saw it coming so poopoo just smoked the boards(again). the intent was there and he definatly left his feet, should have been penalized just for the intent to injure. stupid cement head. Great Post! Many of the other countries teams (in most sports) play together for a long time, rather then the Americans, who just throw a team together at the last minute.

Ill be at this one, got "standing room" tiks. So heres to hopeing the Wings come out hungry for some goals. Im taking some friends that have never been to an NHL game before, I figure this should be a dandy for their first game. I love the $27 standing room, much better then $44 for nosebleed seats. Off for an early game of drop-in to get us in the mood!! Go Wings!!!
