Is it just me or is Sopcast running later than the actual game? Sopcast just had the period start, whereas my TV shows it at 18:29.

I have Charter and FSN+ is channel 76 for me, but the sound/video quality is horrible! It's all staticky and dim. Sopcast isn't any better, so I don't know which to choose. I have Sopcast running right now and it seems like it's streaming from the Columbus side...yuck!

Well, according to Dom supporters, he plays better facing more shots...so defensive breakdowns should HELP him by some twist of logic.

I get the deer hunters thing, but not the psychics thing. 4 goals in 17 shots is inexcusable, i don't know why people are saying it's acceptable, especially 3 on a break-away. 3 goals on breakaways MAY be partially the team's fault (even though they played great), but what does that say about what he'd be like in a shootout? think about it. if he can't stop breakaways, no matter who was responsible for letting it happen, he should not be in net. He will lose us every shootout he's in.

Datsyuk may be a bit hard to market - he's so quiet and shy, and hardly speaks english...and he's not romping around with Kournikova like Federov back in the day. but he could be promoted by default if we were doing more to put Zetterberg's name out in the Detroit environment. Zata is infinitely marketable...he's young, very attractive, has that swedish popstar girlfriend, speaks good english...shallow, yes, but that's the whole point of advertising. Not everyone wants to watch 60 minutes of people skating aimlessly from one end of the rink to the other while their respective goaltenders attempt to slide sluggishly along the crease, swimming in their huge pads like a child in clown boots.

I REALLY feel bad for Grigs. That accident really messed up what would have been a damn bright future. Whether or not it is still affecting him physically or just mentally is immaterial...I think it's the reason he is still slacking. Note that this doesn't mean I think the Wings should keep him around for sympathy. They made the right decision. That doesn't stop me from wanting to give the guy a hug.
