    Fans where are you

If you rounded up all the people, guests included, on this website and forced them to answer a survey about whether they would go see the Wings if they could...the numbers of yes's would be enough to fill up what the JLA is lacking from night to night. I think that fact alone shuts down the debate. It's obviously not that people don't want to go. We've had a constant stream of replies about how people want to go but can't. For cripes sake, can't this be put to rest at some point?

    Go Ducks

It probably took about 25 minutes of conflict and squabbling before it was settled gently with a smile and a hug to a heart-tugging musical score, right before the credits rolled. oh wait, disneyland, not disney channel...well, same thing.

This excuse was debunked here before.

SI.com's Allan Muir - Wings deserved to win game 2

Um...hello? Have any idea what happened during the Calgary series? They played 3 games of hockey in 72 hours, the last of which went to double overtime, and that timespan also included a road trip to a city thousands of miles away. You really think that that last exhausted the Wings to the point where they are sitting pretty waiting to be smashed over by SJ? Not likely. That was a walk in the park in comparison.

    Post-Game 2: Red Wings 3, Sharks 2 (4/28)

Let's not overlook ESPN's utter SJ fanboyism... http://scores.espn.go.com/nhl/recap?gameId=270428005 The Sharks made a rare mistake early in the third period with a Detroit-like giveaway. ok, I get it, we give away the puck too often, but come on...

    Hullies Octo-Knowledge

it's gross! I wouldn't be surprised if there WERE octopi in the Detroit River that mutated from goldfish or something.

    Wings meet fork

The original post in this thread is the equivalent of drunk dialing You wake up from your daze the next morning and gosh don't you feel sheepish.

Giving the not-so-popular players some kudos here...

Maltby is a born underdog. That's how he thrives, being down and out on the penalty kill. Even if he's not a household name NHL-wide, Detroit fans know what he brings to the team. Samuelsson, though, needs to have one of those citronella dog collars where every time they bark it sprays a foul-tasting burst of citrus into their face. Every time he tries to slap the puck in from 30 feet away...he gets a spray.

    Datsyuk

He's even dished out a few hits...I am impressed. GO DATS!

Can we get a W in the tank?

Please note...that is exactly what people are saying about us, that the Sharks winning is a foregone conclusion (hopefully the win has shut them up a little!) Saddledome > Shark Tank, and we won at the Saddledome. I'm not afraid of the Wings on the road, I'm really not.

Welcome to LGW, San Jose Sharks fans

expounding on the Office Space thing...if the Sharks decide to take the games off to play Tetris and gut fish, I won't be complaining

Sharks fans want to play Wings

At this point I want the Wings to play the Sharks so if we win the cup no one can say we only advanced because Dallas was "soft" or whatever. We were the underdogs in the Calgary series as well. I know our regular season record vs. the Sharks was questionable (to say the least) but in the playoffs that is mostly wiped clean. the Sharks are an AMAZING team, no doubt...but if the Wings bring it they can beat them. it's a matter of how much they WANT it, and in the regular season, they had less incentive to do it.
