Yeah what the hell is the deal with that?!?!? My guess is that it has something to do with the Pistons having a contract for a certain amount of games to be on, and they have to make up for them because of the NBA lockout. I don't know, all I know is that I hate that. Thank God! I can't stand the Pistons getting priority, it just doesn't make ANY sense. The Pistons have never-ever been more irrelevant. Nick never experienced adversity because he automatically makes a team a playoff-team. Nick doesn't have to deal with too much adversity, because he's sooo good that everything looks easy.

Yzerman for me is easily number 3. The other top 2 is hard, but I have to give the edge to Lidstrom. It's almost impossible to find a player that can play as long and as consistent as Lidstrom, and that player would be Gordie Howe. As a broke college student, I paid $50 for the Big Chill. As a broke out of college person. I'll pay whatever it costs. I'm glad we're playing the Leafs, I really am, but we do not NEED them for this event. There's Wings fans coming from Montana to see this game. Michigan may be f*&^ed as a State right now, but there would be no shortage of 115,000 Wings fans willing to drop some serious money for a piece of Red Wings history. Detroit is ranked no.4 in playing to high percentage capacity at road games. Toronto... no.12.

If I hear another moron say that the NHL put the Leafs in this game to make sure they fill they stadium I'm gonna flip. If Michiganders can fill the stadium for a college hockey game, no one gives a damn who the Wings are playing, just the fact that the Wings are there will make it full.

I wish I could say that if I get tickets I'll be able to pass them on to you all. But I can think of 30 people I know that will easily take extra tickets of my hands. Hopefully we can make this happen though.

Very un-open. I can't think of a single player in the world that I would rather have. I really like Miller and Kovalchuk, but no and no. Stamkos is sweet, but he doesn't offer the entire package that Zetterberg does.

As much as we all (myself included) seem to envision Zetterberg as the next Captain, you can't ignore this guy. They're few and far between where someone is just so unbelievably classy you can't ignore it. This guy has the making of a Captain written all over him.

I hate Pronger as much as the next guy, and I'd like nothing more than a chance to kick Crosby in the nuts. But regardless of the person, the NHL should be filled with the best players in the world. Those player's shouldn't be out because of injuries, they should be playing hockey.
