As a die-hard Kovalchuk, and Thrashers fan. This is absolutely devastating. Not to mention moronic for both camps. How Kovalchuk and Atlanta could let this happen to each other is beyond me. This is truly sad. I feel even worse for the fans of them who actually live around there and attend their games (I'm a Wings fan first and foremost). Sad, sad news.

What's going on in Vancouver? It's like they're trying to see how much their helmets can suck. That being said - Varlamov has a really cool one. I like how he re-created his old helmet design to a modern version.

I'm sorry but I whole-heartily disagree with this list. In one huge way HOW IS SID ABEL NOT ON THAT LIST!!! Not only should he be on the list, he should be centering Howe and Lindsay. That line finished 1,2,3 in scoring, and they're not on the list?

Well, here's hoping he cripples the team with a huge cap hit. I've never really been too big a fan of Luongo's. Or the Canucks for that matter. I'm curious to see the term's of this contract considering I believe the Sedin's were over-paid.

If you take the time to think about it there's really no downside... Defense, injury. Ok, maybe sometimes, but at 1.5 for a player of his potential. Also, I'm totally biased because I've always been a huge fan of his. (Although I do believe my points about him are correct).

I hope we can find this in English soon. But if this is true, I will be extremely happy! The Thrashers have more than enough money to spend, and they need him on that team. He's one of the best players in the league, but no one realizes it because his team is so terrible. He is my favorite player on my favorite team... outside of the Red Wings of course.
