The guy is very intelligent and his predictions are usually right on the nose. He takes all the rumors he can find from newspapers across the nation and then puts together a very smart prediction. Normally he's right on.

That makes no sense. Drake isn't washed up, he could have played somewhere else on a 3rd line. He's been signed to play on our 4th line more then likely and and add grit to the lineup. No way is he an option to be sent down, he would have never signed had that been the case. Now could he be trade bait if Grigs makes the team? that sounds a bit more likely. But yes I dont think the wings are done yet.

I think its because all our ideas and predictions have pretty much all gone out the window. We knew Schnieds wouldn't be back - but Bert? And Hasek's taking forever. I think some of us don't want to jynx the team and others are done making foolish predictions. Kenny's not done yet by any means but I just think everyone's realizing we need to sit back and wait - have some patience.

Yeah I definitely don't get the Sarich talk around here. But this is smart by Kenny, you saw the Wings PP without Schneider on the point and it was definitely not as good as it could have been. His shot is incredible and aside from the stupid penalties he takes, he's physical and tough. Not like Markov of course but he has a strong presence on the ice. Personally I never got all caught up in Markov. I guess I'm not into the whole hitting aspect of the game as I am into the finesse of it and I pay more attention to that. I see Markov get burned here and there and not always playing like he could. Personally, Schneider > Markov in my book.

Kenny has a soft spot for former Wings so this wouldn't surprise me. Heck I think it would be a great move. Kozzie was a fan favorite and always a playoff performer. I say we bring him back for sure! And heck bring back Fedorov while your at it...Maybe Fetisov will come outta retirement?

I say that since Bert wants to come back and Kenny wants him, they should just get a deal done right now. I'm sure they can come to terms. Plus Hasek is doing what he did in 02 and taking his sweet time deciding on his future (and the Wings' really) so while Kenny's waiting on that, get Bert taken care of! Then Schnids should be next because of his ability to play the power play. He takes many stupid penalties but he also is a great point man and has a wicked shot. Markov is a solid d-man too, but you never knew which Markov was going to show up on which night. Some nights he was amazing and then others a pee-wee could skate through him....might get his head taken off, but you get my point. And the same goes for Lang. He only showed up when he wanted and granted he scored two huge goals and had a few assists but I don't know what to think. To be 100% honest, I would love to see him back - but at a very reduced price. No reason to have Langer back at what the Wings were giving him this year but if he took a drastic pay-cut (which he won't) then he should definitely come back. And Calder...I'm with everyone who's at a loss with him because I am too. He showed so much heart in the games he played in the regular season and seriously after the first few games that he played, I was watching him every second he was on the ice, just because he was showing such heart. I want to see him back but obviously if Helene St. James says he isn't then obviously he isn't.. lol side note, thats not a knock on her...well it is kinda, I could write more intelligent hockey articles in my sleep..

I don't want Giggy on this team, Hasek is much better in my mind. If anyone I'd love to see Kipper on this team. Now that would be amazing

I've been coming to this site for many years, starting back in 2002. I didn't join until 05 but I've always enjoyed the conversations on this site. I was more then happy to contribute and I hope every member here can give a little as well. Just think if everyone here gave 5 dollars what wonders that could do. Whats up with you D-bags having stupid stuff to say to Duckette? Seriously, she had the guts to say thank you to a bunch of disappointed Wings fans. She didn't come slap it in our faces, nor did she rub in last nights game, it was just a nice goodbye, so I have no idea why some of you are taking out your anger towards other Ducks fans on her. Personally Duckette, I'd like to say it was a pleasure having you here and having civil conversations with you. I went over to allducks.com and had a very warm welcome and even when the Wings would win, I never had a problem with the folks over there. I thought most of your fans were very classy and they deserve a for showing it, even when down in the series. As for the Ducks fans who were and are jerks, it doesn't matter Wings fans. Those of you who had negative things to say to Duckette makes you no better then the Ducks fans who have s*** to talk to us. Just think about that. Again, it was good having you here and I wouldn't mind a rematch next year...only with a different outcome

Howard's definitely not ready for the show. And Dom got us as far as he did this year, without him the Wings don't make it. Bring him back for one last shot. Had the Wings stayed healthy, this team would be in the Finals I guarantee it.

Unfortunately he only played his ass of in one game and thats the problem. In hockey a guy can get away with it but in Football you can't play s***ty then just show up at the Superbowl. Lang showed little heart over these playoffs and did score 2 really crucial goals but at the same time didn't give it his all every night. Regardless, he did play very well tonight and he deserves this Other then that, its time to move on from the Lang era around here and hopefully to the Gomez or Drury one. Or heck, Grigorenko lol

You're a moron. A teams history creates a Dynasty. The wings are a Dynasty. The Maple Leafs, the Canadians, those are Dynasties because of their past. Your past is what makes a team and their fans great. Right now will pass in the blink of an eye but history/glory last forever. Thats something Ducks fans won't understand until their 10th Cup.
