Because, sure, we believe what the Devils organization says these days. I'm still inclined to believe the Bloomberg report; Devils are probably just worried that ticket sales will tank even further than they already have.

I have to admit, Salei has been playing better as of late. But it seems like for every one brilliant or timely play he makes, there's three boneheaded coverage mistakes, ill-timed pinches or turnovers right around the corner. To be honest, though, we could probably say that about most of our defense these days.

I honestly think it's less the fault of Snow and more the fault of Charles Wang. Garth Snow is just a figurehead, a puppet through which Wang runs the team into the ground.

I'm just annoyed that it wasn't blown dead. Ken and Mick are saying it was because there was an odd-man rush for the Devils, but when the high-stick happened, the puck was JUST in the process of being dumped out from deep in the Devils zone into center ice. No odd-man rush there yet.

Late penalty called, 4 minute PP. Rolston did it WHEN THE PUCK WAS STILL IN THE DEVILS' ZONE. Wow, way to blow it dead.
