McCrimmon has destroyed this once-defensively-feared team. Whatever he's telling them is absolute s***. Look at McCrimmon's track record. He's like the Brian Burke of defensive coordinators - once he comes to a team, their defensive stats take a HUGE nosedive.

If Ozzie truly is out for the season, I honestly don't think we have much to look forward to when it comes time for the postseason. After Larsson's comments, though, I don't see Holland trying to bring him back in. Would be more trouble than he's worth. Might as well bring in Ray Emery at that point.

This is hilarious. No one took us seriously when we laughed at Burke for signing him. How Burke has the reputation he does in the media is baffling. Dude's on par with Lamoriello in terms of vastly overrated GMs.

Joey Mac did well in New York and Toronto, as far as I recall, so I think he'll do decently enough for us - provided our defense gets their act together. Last night was a good start; no shame for him losing in a shootout, considering after a 2-0 start, we probably didn't have much business going that far.

According to Twitter, Holland says Howard's day-to-day, knee is swollen, but they're hoping he may actually be okay for Tuesday.

Just read that Ryan O'Reilly (Avs) got stretchered off the ice after clipping a skate and then going head-first into the boards. Didn't look like there was any movement on his part afterward. Very scary.

Weighed in at 195 last night. Very pleased with my progress since Christmas. Short term goal is 190 by the end of the month. Long-term is back down to 170-175 by Summer.
