Damien Cox made a great statement on Twitter: Outdoor concept should used for All-Star Game. That, and that only. Tonight proves it. While I like the idea of outdoor ASGs...it creates the same problem the Winter Classic does - excluding southern teams.

I get the feeling it was just NBC not knowing how to shoot a hockey game (duh), because Damien Cox said that CBC looks a lot better than NBC's broadcast.

Meanwhile, all I see on Twitter is how awful the broadcast on NBC is, the lighting is terrible, shadows all over the ice, etc. Plus Doc apparently had to explain what the 'C' on a jersey means? Why don't they just bring out the Fox Trax puck and be done with it?

But to answer your question: Goal #1: Lidstrom baseball-batted it into our net Goal #2: Some say a weird bounce, I say a softie by Jimmy Goal #3: Deflection All came off defensive zone faceoff losses.
