I'm really beginning to hate the signing of Salei. Dude's already contributed to at least three goals against this season by either tipped shots or lazy penalties. Kudos to the Stars faithful for giving Mo the reception he deserves.

And on NHL Home Ice yesterday, Colin Campbell almost sounded like he didn't want to suspend Hjalmarsson, instead blaming the hit itself on Pominville. He was stumbling all over himself trying to excuse Hjalmarsson for what he did and placing the onus for being in that position on Pominville. Seemed he was more concerned about Wisniewski's infraction, which was neither dangerous nor injurious to anyone.

It's a neat store, but just a store nonetheless. Worth a visit if you're in the city (along with Nintendo World if you're into gaming), but nothing overly special. And yes, the prices for merch there are obscene.

The ice seemed really crappy last night too. Puck was bouncing all over the place and it seemed like every shootout opportunity, the puck started rolling, resulting in a poorly controlled shot. Not excusing our guys - they're clearly not good in shootouts - but the ice quality didn't help.
