A win, but we should have been able to dominate that Chicago squad. 2 goals on 19 shots against doesn't inspire confidence in our defense yet for me. -

A vocal minority? Really? Of course he would think that. He can't get enough of Crybaby 87. And yet, it still couldn't beat basketball in the ratings.

No way he's getting suspended. Boynton gets suspended for a gesture that wasn't even a 'throat slash' gesture (it was more of a 'cut it out/knock it off' gesture) and Orpik blatantly attempts to injure a guy in a spot where he was injured last season (and I don't care if there's no video, the Pens have a history of this cheap shot garbage, all starting with Cooke) and not a peep from the league. Are we really surprised though?

Hey, even if there was video proof, remember that FS Pittsburgh now has a history of covering things up (a goal last season that should have counted against the Pens, FSP withheld a vital camera angle from Toronto), so it wouldn't have mattered.

They have an odd definition of "major announcement". The Coyotes moving to Hamilton, that would be a major announcement. Bettman resigning, that would be a major announcement. This? It's just more media oversaturation of Crybaby 87.

3-0 Pens, Franzen kneed by Orpik, injured. Would be nice if the league would set the tone with a huge suspension for Orpik. The most I see happening, however, is a suspension for the preseason, which is like when they suspended Cooke before the playoffs when it didn't make a difference. It's the same bulls***, different season. -

Didn't Steve Downie get suspended during the preseason one year? So I think it's possibly. But not probably, because the Pens have carte blanche on hits like that. -
