Note the bolded portion. The funny thing is that exact same thing is usually said about Osgood, but usually in the opposite order (meaning, "He'll make great saves and then let in terrible goals!").

Er, I'm a Red Sox fan. Friend from Boston got me into baseball back in '03. And shockingly, I had total faith in the Red Sox in '04 during that series, not quite sure why - even by friend in Boston had given up. That said, I don't have the same feeling about this series, unfortunately.

I didn't even watch a lot of Tigers baseball during Harwell's reign, but I loved hearing his voice nonetheless. The man was a true professional, one of the best in the history of the biz.

I actually just discovered what the hell is wrong with the officiating in this series: Mick McGeough. Yes, I know he retired. But apparently, his incompetence still lingers on... Full article here. I have a sinking feeling we're going to keep getting jobbed in this series.

Shanny was great on Twitter last night. One shocking reveal is that he was actually friends with Claude Lemieux due to their time in Jersey together, so much so that Lemieux apparently named his son Brendan. Another one was that during the whole D-Mac/Lemieux beatdown, D-Mac actually had no idea that a full-scale brawl was going on behind him.

Apostrophe win. Gotta be Sedin. No way it should go to Crosby. Compound that with the fact that the Penguins seem to do worse as a team when Malkin is injured versus when Crosby is injured, which, IMO, shows who's ultimately more valuable to that team.
