Okay, I didn't watch the game, so I'm curious...how did Luongo look? Giving up two goals to Germany on 23 shots doesn't sound like a stunning performance, but like I said, I didn't watch the game.

Sort of, just the opposite angle where you can see Pronger's face. I'll take a pic of it and upload it in a bit (don't have my scanner here at work, unfortunately). EDIT: Got it, along with a bonus pic from the same USA Today. Pronger looks so sad. I love it. There's our whipping boy. -

The picture of Parise and Langenbrunner celebrating in today's print edition of USA Today is pretty good with Pronger in the background to their right, all dejected and pouty. -

Yep, just a total double-standard. But eh, in the end, the US is in great position right now and if it wasn't for the fact that Canada's next game is against Germany, they'd be precariously close to not even getting to the medal rounds. Mind you, if they choke against Germany, I'll laugh until I lose consciousness. -

Babcock did make a couple crucial mistakes - playing Brodeur, not calling a timeout at the end - so I can't totally disagree. -
And even when he scored...they spend three minutes reflecting on how amazing it was. I don't remember them doing that with anyone else's goals.
