Me too, one of my favorite Fleury moments.

Paramore, "Looking Up".

Nice to see yet another injured Wing returning. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/20...turns_to_l.html

And with more roster updates...Brad May's in, Leino's a healthy scratch.

I'm still holding out hope that Lilja will be back. The logical part of me feels that he's probably done...but the hockey fan in me wants to see him out on the ice blocking shots and frustrating the opposition some more.

This is completely true. My ass is falling asleep here.

Confirmed by Bruce MacLeod's Twitter. Janik's been sent back down to GR.

Which means that Bettman is going to have to step in and make sure he stays in Atlanta.
-
I hate Lange's voice too though. Guess it's a matter of taste.
-
Probably going to give him a raise and a medal. This league is ridiculous. And now, unfortunately, Burrows is going to be a marked man for the rest of the season...especially when Auger is reffing Vancouver games, which you KNOW he will be.
-
I'm genuinely shocked.

The one I had in mind was Matt Cooke's knee-on-knee hit to Shean Donovan that took Donovan out of commission for 4-6 months.
-
And that came about because Crosby has a direct line to Bettman, as he revealed in one of the interviews during All Star Weekend. He called Bettman and was told that if he just made appearances, he wouldn't be suspended (and in the same interview, Crosby talked s*** about Lidstrom and Datsyuk not being there for the All Star Weekend). I should look and see if that interview is on YouTube.

Or at least not any Vancouver playoff games.

Part of me wants Ozzie to start in the playoffs because he's money in the postseason. And then if he falters within the first few games, hand the reigns to Jimmy (similar to Dom and Ozzie in 2008). But then if Jimmy can't handle the pressure, it's a crappy time to find that out. I think the more logical part of me says, hey, if Jimmy's still playing well leading up to postseason time (and we've qualified for the playoffs, of course), let him start. If he falters, then give it to Ozzie. This scenario puts me a little more at ease, honestly. I have more faith in Ozzie in relief than Jimmy, simply due to experience. But this way, at least Jimmy gets his feet wet.

He may sometimes say things I disagree with, but Chicken Parm is one of the few columnists/commentators that I can actually read without grinding my teeth the entire way. Good read.

Let's see...how many ways can the Penguins cheat and get away with it? Goals scored after obvious offsides? Check. Instigate a fight in the last five minutes with no suspension? Check. Play with six or seven skaters on the ice in addition to the goaltender without penalty? Check. Deliberate attempts to injure with no suspension? Check. And now this? Mind you, it's not the Penguins themselves this time, but FSN Pittsburgh is part of the organization. It's almost a shame Philly won that game, because it would be awesome to see Pittsburgh have to, say, forfeit points from a win. I mean, if Bettman wasn't running things, that is.

"Best in sports...blah blah blah...right 99.9% of the time...blah blah blah..." It would be so nice if this paved the way to investigate some other questionable officiating, picking up patterns between officials and specific players being penalized (of course, O'Halloran and Holmstrom instantly come to mind).
-
Only four points down now.
-
True. Although I certainly feel better about losing to Anaheim now.
-
Ah, I thought the whole play got erased, in which case I was wondering why the Leafs would even get a PP in the first place. Now, knowing that...Leafs got screwed. Big surprise...Pittsburgh is the beneficiary.
-
Agreed, though we've seen that happen with the Pens before, haven't we? Blown offside calls in their favor, goals taken away from the opposition, most powerplay opprtunities in the league...come on, Bettman, you used to be more stealthy than this.
