Well, at least picking against the Wings last night paid off.

I picked the Wings to lose this one in the Weekend Picks. However, I also picked them to win against Dallas. So we'll probably win.

I still want McCrimmon fired. I just have a feeling that the PK and defense have started tuning him out, thus their improved play.

I have no intention of causing trouble in this thread - you guys know me better than that - but I'm genuinely surprised that Hockey Fights Cancer didn't have Crosby in the video, especially considering that Malkin and Ovechkin made appearances. Was very cool to see so much of the Wings roster (and staff!) in the vid though. The Professor knows what's up.

And how many times are the Penguins going to benefit from it? I mean, seriously. Colorado gets hosed, they're playing the Pens. Habs get hosed, they're playing the Pens. Once is a coincidence. Twice within a one week period is the beginning of a trend.

I don't buy it. Goaltending isn't our problem right now - scoring is.

His only real asset is his speed. And in most cases, he speedily skates back to our zone to botch a defensive play. While he's been fortunate enough to make the NHL, he just is NOT a good defenseman. Of course, McCrimmon handling the defense just makes Lebs look that much worse.
