edicius replied to SouthernWingsFan's topic in General
Good luck with Fleury, Canada. -
Got another batch (well, two) of auctions going up right now: Shanahan, Pro Player, Size L - Home Zetterberg, CCM, Size L - Home

Well, at least it's not Legace. Still, better hide the beach balls...

First, I would get some popcorn...

From what I've seen on this one show on TruTV, nabbing idiot teens on Spring Break in Florida and such, they don't even need to be in possession of alcohol to get charged with MIP. If the cop thinks that they've been drinking, he/she gives them a breathalyzer and if they blow anything more than a zero, they're charged with MIP. So if Kane took a breathalyzer and it came up with anything other than .000, he should have been charged with MIP.

That just made me realize that I've never been a groomsman at a wedding. Hmm.

Which Team Has a Better Chance of Making it Back to the Finals?
edicius replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
Pens are going to have injury problems this season. Why, do you ask? Chris Pronger. -
Woo Hoo! Just got my Wings vs Devils and Rangers tix
edicius replied to Jersey Wing's topic in General
I actually saw the price range on Ticketmaster going as low as $10.00 (for when they go on sale), so that may be truly awesome. -
Woo Hoo! Just got my Wings vs Devils and Rangers tix

GAH! I didn't know the Wings were playing in Jersey this season. Gonna have to find tix. -
A Quenneville-coached team should never, ever be ahead of the Wings in a Power Rankings listing. That's just plain common sense.

Incorrect. It's legal until he crosses the border back into the US. If a cop decides to give him a breathalyzer in the US and he blows anything higher than a .000, he's cuffed and thrown into the back of a cop car. Full disclosure: Did I do my share of underage drinking? Of course, I'm no saint. And I also knew that if I got caught, I was in deep s*** with the cops.

Those Wings ones are fantastic as hell. And don't worry about the braces...I'm turning 30 this month and I've had braces for almost 2 years now.

Getzlaf would get my vote.

I have one of the Heatley copies myself. I had pre-ordered the game, so I had it on the launch date. With so much advance notice in this case, I wouldn't be surprised to see EA drop the hammer before the game even goes to the presses.

I'm embarrassed to admit this, but that's the first time I've ever actually sat down and listened to the original. And of course, it's ******* awesome. Having raised myself on industrial music, I always listened to this cover: Equally awesome, because you can't go wrong with Trent on vocals.

Steve Jablonsky, "The Fallen" (from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Original Score).

They're just ancient Cybertronian glyphs. /nerd

He'll go to Toronto. Calling it now. He goes where Burke goes.
-
They're just panicking about him being in the Pacific Division and being able to rough up the Golden Boy six times a season.

You know me, I like my needles and ink.

Sportsnet: Hudler awarded 2 year deal 5m total; Still KHL bound
edicius replied to DatsyukownzU13's topic in General
All I can say is best of luck to Jiri in the KHL. We'll always have "The Hudlers are laughing at you!" -
Another difference between the Hossa/Pronger and Franzen/Zetterberg contracts is the fact that the former are long-term contracts on new teams. For Franzen and Zetterberg, the Wings are the only NHL team they've known and a "lifetime" contract somehow makes more sense there. Look at Ovechkin's contract, same thing. Even Dipietro, despite the idiocy of his contract given his injury issues. I admit, it probably has nothing to do with these investigations, but it makes an odd kind of sense, to me at least.

I had a dream last night that Grier signed with the Blackhawks. Eek.

New ink today. Here's a taste.
