Apologies to any fans of his, but Messier is clearly an idiot. Of those three, I'd have to begrudgingly choose Iginla, simply because he's the most leader-like out of the three. But that's like trying to choose the healthiest burger at McDonald's.

Bylsma's a classy guy. He provides the leadership that the Pittsburgh locker room has been lacking for the last however many years. Which is a scary, scary thing. I genuinely think he realizes that Crosby was made captain too early and the team has suffered as a result.

So much for the weekend being the hot time to showcase hockey. Probably would have done better airing a game on Tuesday night, but NBC didn't want to rearrange their schedule (specifically Conan's first week on the Tonight Show, understandably so) if the game went to OT.

Personally, I'd love to see a sweep, just for the satisfaction of seeing Hossa lift the Cup in Pittsburgh. Selfish reasons too, since I'll be at a Nine Inch Nails show during Game 5. In all honesty, though, I don't see Pittsburgh dropping both at home.

Let's look at it this way... In Game One, the Wings proved that they're in the heads of Crosby and Fleury. In Game Two, the Wings added Malkin to that list. Shall we get in the head of Staal in Game Three?

Believe me, I know how infuriating that can be. I've complained many a time about the Wings' "dump-and-don't-chase" game in the past. Now that we actually seem to have some speed on the roster, we're able to successfully do the chase part, so I don't have as much to complain about.

Agreed, Getzlaf scared the hell out of me every time he was on the ice and heading into the offensive zone. Crosby and Malkin? Not so much. Especially when Zata's shadowing. The physical presence isn't there.

By the rules, Malkin should be suspended. But the league, as shown with the Walker/Ward instigator, has discretion. On another note...was that Zata's first career fighting major?

Agreed on all points. Whereas Therrien was a whiner in every sense of the word, Bylsma is class all the way. Didn't make excuses, gave credit where it was due, etc. Makes it really hard to hate him. Actually, I kind of like him (as much as one can like an opposition coach). With any luck, some of his demeanor will rub off on Crosby.

No "soon" about it... I shoot a lot of Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, etc. and they ALWAYS play that awful, awful song. It's pretty much the new Macarena, though not nearly as popular.
