That's the first time I can ever remember Ted picking the Wings to win.
-
I see what you did there. I'm actually surprised they haven't retired Hebert's number (since you know they'll likely never retire Kariya).
-
No its not, your nuts!
-
Best wishes to both of them and glad to hear they've caught it at a treatable stage.

PURE WIN. I had totally forgotten that Quenneville is behind the bench in Chi-town.- 343 replies

No O'Halloran and no Watson? I'm cool with that.

Alternate 2008 Finals: Pittsburgh Penguins vs Detroit Red Wings

Wow, even in Bizarro World, Sid's a whiner! Nice to know there are some constants in the universe, like Unicron. -
Well, I guess Ovechkin didn't kill Gonchar after all. http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09132/969530-100.stm

One of my absolute fave songs. Good taste. Saw them live last year and they were brilliant. Right now, shuffling on my Zune is... Drowning Pool, "Tear Away".

Just got a PS3 this weekend. I believe my network ID is ediciusNJ. Haven't played anything online yet, but I've got NHL 09 and Motor Storm.
-
Wifey snapped a pic of me enjoying our new PS3 tonight.

Watched the replay a few times and it didn't look intentional to me. No late movement of the leg toward Gonchar, just a straight shot, looked like Ovechkin was going in for a check and Gonchar dodged. That said, it's still a dangerous play and any penalty Ovechkin got is well-deserved. Suspendable though? I don't think so. Didn't appear like intent to injure, not like the Brown hit or the Kunitz cross check.

I could have sworn I saw Lilja sitting behind the Anaheim bench just shaking his head menacingly at him.
-
I really need to give someone here my cell number next time.

I'm sorry I went to bed after the first period.
-
Screw this. I'm going to bed, fully expecting a Wings loss in the morning. I've got too much s*** to do tomorrow to watch another half-assed performance from this team.
-
At one point during the show today, Bettman will say the following: "We have the best officials in all of sports. They're not perfect, but they get it right 99.9% of the time."

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=421557 Not really surprised.

I love how the NHL rep won't even admit that Watson made a mistake. He clearly did. Would go a LONG way to admit a mistake. But nope, that's their story and they're sticking to it. Idiots.

The players seem to know their stuff. First, Sid being the biggest whiner, now this... http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=277623

THIS, THIS, A THOUSAND TIMES THIS. Niedermayer is responsible.
