Was thinking the same thing myself. I honestly don't see Bouwmeister leaving Florida with them still in playoff position and he's the biggest name out there right now. I heard something about the Pens possibly mortgaging the farm (again) to try and get Kovalchuk, but I don't see that happening.

Christ, I come home from the doctor's and the first thing I see on TSN is "Red Wings' Hossa taken off ice on stretcher". My heart SANK. Glad to hear it's just precautionary, but I'm still freaked.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply that it wasn't a fair fight, just that Lils absorbing all those punches at the end was because he was basically out on his feet. Just my wording was bad there. Weber tagged him good (impressive hook for a non-fighter!) and had no way of really knowing that Lilja was all woozy, so he just kept going. If Lils hadn't gotten tagged, he would have kept swinging and not dropped. Not blaming Weber for anything - like I said, that was a well-aimed knock to Lils' face! (And I can chuckle about it because he's okay. )

I think it was at about the :22 mark when he got tagged. From that point on, his knees just seemed to go.

I was glad to read that you were actually treated well at the Sommet Center too. I must admit that everything I've thought about the Sommet Center/Gaylord Arena was through the eyes of TV (the image of, no joke, some mostly toothless redneck guy wearing a diaper and holding a sign reading a misspelled "Chelios is a crybaby" sign on a Nashville feed a couple years ago sits strongly in my mind), but if you had a good time, that's a bit of a paradigm shift for me. It would be funnier if you were holding it upside down.
