Just caught it here on TV. That was quite possibly one of the strangest things I've ever seen. Happened during the video review for a potential OT goal (no goal). Left a thick fog in the arena along with a "pungent" smell, delaying the continuance of OT. Someone's getting arrested if they're found out, that's for sure.

The RUWT? Sports headline for the Blues game tonight is hilarious. "Blues plan to watch their step vs. Panthers"

This is one of the stupidest rule proposals meant to increase scoring that I've ever heard of. Even worse than increasing the size of the net. If they tried to introduce it under the guise of preventing injuries, I could almost understand that (but wouldn't like it). But to restrict shot blocking to increase scoring? Garbage. Absolute garbage.

Just had another instance of really being able to experience my weight loss, like pants fitting that didn't fit before. A few years ago, before he had returned to the Wings, I snagged an Ozzie jersey on eBay. Unfortunately, I didn't practice the whole "reading is fundamental" thing and the jersey I won happened to be a size medium. But it was only about $30, so it wasn't a big deal - it was still an Ozzie jersey (only one I had up to that point was an Isles Ozzie jersey). Tried it on when I got it and it was extremely snug. Not comfortable at all. So back to the closet it went...until today. Just for s***s and giggles, I figured I'd try it on. Fits beautifully now.

I'm just honestly amazed we won last night with both O'Halloran AND Van Massenhoven on the ice.

In before this one gets moved... Nice to see that the Palin curse is alive and well. Blues get shut out AND Legace gets injured as a direct result of Palin being there. I feel sorry for Manny, but not for the Blues. They knew what they were getting into after seeing what happened to Philly.

And Philly finally won tonight...coincidentally after Palin dropped the puck in St. Louis. The curse has been transferred...

Yeah, from what I heard, he just yelled at his appendix to "get the @#$% out" and the rest is history. Can't wait to see him back in action tomorrow.

Well, the Palin curse ended for the Flyers tonight...so I must only conclude that it's been transferred to the Blues. GO KINGS GO!

Gotta side with ya here. If it were any other pair of officials, I'd just chalk it up to inconsistent officiating. But this is Van Massenhoven and O'Halloran. We know them pretty well.
