We should have expected this. The Rangers are actually good this season.

I've watched/been to enough Devils games out here to know that yes, their games ARE boring. It's a shame. It's also a reason I've been extremely reluctant to shell out the cash to see a game at Prudential yet. Given their attendance, so is everyone else (yes, the economy plays into that, but they had weak attendance before the economy tanked too). Meanwhile, I've watched/been to the same amount of Rangers games. THOSE are entertaining. When it comes down to it, Lamoriello won't allow the Devils to even be a remotely offense-minded team.
