(Yes, I know, we're off topic...but it's in between periods!) You gotta admit that the Rays have been a hell of a story. But a Rays/Phillies WS? Ratings NIGHTMARE for the networks. In '04, I had confidence in the Sox coming back against the Yanks (wish I could grab the message board posts elsewhere that would confirm this, but the board no longer exists ). Last year, I knew they could come back from 3-1. But this year...I just ain't feelin' it. Bats have gone cold and we can't blame the pitching entirely. Ain't gonna win many games if you can't string together a few runs, no matter how many you give up. Whoa...I think the wine is kicking in. Neat.

Ozzie may have started off this game a bit rough, but he is ON now. Both he and Luongo have faced the same amount of shots now too. Ozzie's ahead.

Ozzie gets an assist on that one too. Nice. And now makes a nice save. What's even more impressive about that Cleary goal is that it was off the rebound. OZZIE DOES IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you look at this game purely in terms of the goaltenders and SOG, Ozzie and Luongo are just about even. Ozzie's 10/12 and Luongo's 12/14.

It's because I just finished off a bottle of red and then poured a glass of white. I wonder if Lilja is a wine drinker.
