Which is a shame, because that's not the first breakaway he's had this season. Wings PP.
-
Ozzie's saving our bacon now. Where the hell is our D? (except for Lilja, who has been gold tonight)
-
*giggle* Someone just sent me this when I complained about Palin dropping the puck at that Flyers game... And knowing how the Flyers were last season... 2nd underway. Let's see if we can get an actual EFFORT out of our guys. I'm looking at you especially, Hossa.
-
Did they? Oops, I must have missed that. Well, then that's just really confusing.
-
Actually, they never did put the time back on the scoreboard, which means the refs committed two screw-ups there.
-
I know, I was being serious.
-
Damn, we look awful out there. Lucky to only be down by one. Ozzie with a rough start, but he's made some great saves since. Of course, Lilja's been brilliant.
-
Huh...a couple people in the Justin.tv chat just said that "hossa is in talks with ken holland to sign for 2 years at 4.5 mil a season". Anybody else hear that?
-
You know, I hate Bush...but I gotta give him credit for his interaction with the Wings. It was entertaining.
-
Another PP for the Canucks. Undisciplined tonight.
-
Ah, crap. Ozzie not having a good night. Three shots on goal...two goals against.
-
Yep, but I'm cool with it. Just thankful the justin.tv feed is working, since the Sopcast one isn't.
-
And they didn't put the time back on the clock either. Lemme see who's reffing this... Koharski and Morton. Hmph.
-
Negates the Wings penalty too? Wha? But...the penalty shouldn't exist, technically!
-
THAT'S IN! THAT'S IN!!! Mickey knows his goalpost sounds.
-
PP upcoming. Better make it count.

Grr. Can't get the Sopcast feed working. Used to be able to do this last season.
-
Knew it would happen eventually. When they hired on Quenneville as a "scout", it basically meant that he would be waiting in the wings if/when Savard faltered. No big surprise here. So who's on Chicago that can really goon it up? We'll need to watch out for those players now.

Rock. I was going to listen to the radio feed tonight (I'm letting the wife take over the TV tonight for stuff like My Name Is Earl, Ugly Betty, The Office, etc.), but this is much better. And since I had it working flawlessly last season, no worries getting it to work again.
-
I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't delighted as hell that the Ducks are 0-4 to start the season (sorry, Duck Guy). Their lack of discipline (and subsequent lack of a decent PK) is killing them so far.
-
That reads like satire.

Ken Holland is on NHL Live right now. He said Z has a "tender groin" right now and that his status for the Vancouver game depends on how he's feeling tomorrow.
-
...and he's been suspended for 10 games. How is it possible that Peca gets suspended for 10 games for ultimately (and, let's be honest here, harmlessly) trying to get a ref's attention whereas a guy like Pronger gets a fraction of that for intent to injure another player? Of course, he's appealing it. http://tsn.ca/columnists/darren_dreger/?id...s=headlines_nhl
