Yeah, Dallas doesn't have a leg to stand on complaining about officiating in this game. Detroit: 6 penalties for 12 minutes. Dallas: 2 penalties for 4 minutes. Detroit: 2:22 of PP time. Dallas: 10:22 of PP time. Oddly enough, the only special teams goal thus far is Zata's shortie.

Christ, people, get your fingers off the panic button. The blood clot rumor is completely unsubstantiated and yet, somehow it's transformed from a blood clot into a blood clot in the BRAIN. Are you people even listening to yourselves? First of all, Franzen's had headaches. HEADACHES. No dizziness and nothing else that would signify a blood clot in the brain. I mean, for all the speculation here, we could just as well say that his leg's fallen off and the headaches are a symptom, because that's just as logical as what's been going on here for the past five pages. I'm still going with concussion-like symptoms and leaving it at that. If it was something as severe as a blood clot - or even if the organization was SPECULATING that it was a blood clot - we would have heard something about it by now. There's no point in lying about an injury like that (as opposed to the vague "upper body injury" and such) because an opposing player isn't going to be able to target a weak point like he could another type of injury. Even the very potential of a blood clot would have gotten press by now. I seriously think someone's gotten their wires crossed because this is mighty coincidental timing, considering Timonen's postseason-ending blood clot. EDIT: This isn't directed at anyone in particular, BTW. All the unfounded speculation is just bugging the piss out of me today. Sorry if I came across as a dick, you guys know me better than that.
